  • Publication number: 20240129159
Abstract: A communication network device facilitates communication between devices and/or applications in a network without requiring each device to register with every other device or application. The communication network device may generate and assign a unique identifier to each device or application upon registration and store a role of the device or application (e.g., sender or receiver or both) in addition to capability and compatibility information. The communication network device may then dynamically broker and manage communications from each of the devices or applications to other devices and applications in real-time. Using a communication network device, communications may be directed to devices or applications without requiring a sending device to know of the recipient's network address. Additionally, the communication network device allows for the direct targeting of communications to specific applications.

  • Patent number: 11869468
Abstract: A system and method to identify a digital representation of a first musical composition including a set of musical blocks. A set of parameters associated with video content are identified. In accordance with one or more rules, one or more of the set of musical blocks of the first musical composition are modified based on the set of parameters to generate a derivative musical composition corresponding to the video content. An audio file including the derivative musical composition corresponding to the video content is generated.

  • Patent number: 11720744
Abstract: A computing device is described which has a memory storing text input by a user. The computing device has a processor which is configured to send the text to a prediction engine having been trained to predict images from text. The processor is configured to receive from the prediction engine, in response to the sent text, a plurality of predictions, each prediction comprising an image predicted as being relevant to the text. The processor is configured to insert a plurality of the images into the text on the basis of criteria comprising one or more of: ranks of the predictions, categories of the images, rules associated with one or more of the images, user input, a trigger word. The processor is configured to insert the plurality of images into the text sequentially, in an order corresponding to ranks of the predictions.

  • Patent number: 11619761
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are set forth for providing a graphing database for exploration and/or production data, e.g., as used in the oil & gas industry. The graphing database can include multiple different entities that are defined by nodes, node edges, and properties that are generated from information collected by an exploration and/or production system. Entities can be designated as complete when the attribute data associated with those entities satisfy mapping rules for standardizing different types of entities. In this way, end users that access data from the graphing database can receive complete data that is consistently available through a variety of sources.

  • Publication number: 20230005013
Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein measure an effect of content exposure (e.g., lift attributable to ad campaign content) by comparing exposed and unexposed conversion (e.g., visit) rates. The measurement processing is distributed between the computing systems used/controlled by different entities: a processing entity and a conversion data collection entity (e.g., a selling entity) so that identifier-level conversion data (e.g., user-level conversion data, device-level conversion data, household-level conversion data, etc.) does not need to leave the conversion data collection entity system(s).

  • Publication number: 20220360495
Abstract: A communication interface and a device control, management and monitoring system are provided to enable the networking of and communication between multiple devices operating under different protocols. The communication interface may act as a translator or protocol converter that reformats transmissions from one protocol to another based on protocol compatibility between the recipient and transmitting devices. The device control and monitoring system may store predefined rules that are triggered when specified conditions associated with the networked devices are detected. The rules may specify an action to take such as transmitting a discount offer to a user or turning off a light. According to one or more arrangements, the communication interface may act as an intermediary between the networked devices and the device control system so that the device control system is not required to understand or be compatible with the various other protocols used by the networked devices.

  • Patent number: 11494510
Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein enable matching identifiers across multiple sources. This may involve adding a unique attribute (e.g., anonymous unique homomorphic identifiers) and/or using randomization to enable comparing data from multiple sources, while also maintaining data privacy. In one example, matches across multiple sources are identified, for example, identifying that there are 100 user identifiers that are in private data sets of three different sources. Such matching may be used to enable private, multi-touch attribution. In another example, techniques are used to determine that data maintained by one source is not also within other sources (e.g., identifying that there are 200 user identifiers that are in data from a first source but not in data from a second source and not in data from a third source. Such determinations may be used to generate control group data that does not match data from other sources.

  • Patent number: 11263543
Abstract: A method includes identifying a graph of a social network, the graph including nodes and edges, each edge connects two nodes, some of the plurality of nodes represent members of the social network, some edges of the plurality of edges represent a relationship between two associated nodes, creating a first taste profile for a first member node, the taste profile identifying a first entity of interest to the first member, identifying a second member node based on an absence of a second taste profile for the second member node, the second member node is connected to the first member node, determining that the second member node is connected to the first member node, creating a second taste profile for the second member node using the first taste profile, and providing a recommendation to a member associated with the second member node based on the created second taste profile.
