  • Publication number: 20240148998
Abstract: A patient interface system to treat a respiratory disorder of a patient, the patient interface system comprising: a positioning and stabilising structure including a back portion and a pair of upper straps extending from the back portion; and a patient interface including a patient interface frame and a pair of rigidiser arms each connected to the patient interface frame at a connection point located in a plane substantially parallel to the patient's Frankfort horizontal plane, the pair of rigidiser arms further including a pair of upper attachment points, wherein the pair of upper straps are adapted to be releasably attached to the pair of upper attachment points such that, when donned by the patient, the pair of upper straps are vertically offset relative to the upper attachment points and substantially parallel to the patient's Frankfort horizontal plane, and wherein the patient interface does not include a forehead support.

  • Patent number: 10181077
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and systems for automated processing of document images using mobile and desktop communications devices. Systems and methods are provided for expediting analysis of the accuracy and quality of captured images by such devices before transmission to a server for processing. The processes use on-device software to provide immediate feedback to the user as to whether the quality of the document photograph is sufficient for processing, without the need for intermediate communication with a server. The processes utilize component labeling, MICR character recognition methods, automatic image rotation, and weighted image scaling. The invention increases speed of processing, reduces rates of rejection, increases processor efficiency, limits memory use, identifies images with likely errors, and provides the opportunity for correction of errors at the earliest possible time.

  • Patent number: 9230382
Abstract: The present invention relates to the automated processing of documents and, more specifically, to methods and systems for aligning, capturing and processing document images using mobile and desktop devices. In accordance with various embodiments, methods and systems for document image alignment, capture, transmission, and verification are provided such that accurate data capture is optimized. These methods and systems may comprise capturing an image on a mobile or stationary device, analyzing images using iterative and weighting procedures, locating the edges or corners of the document, providing geometric correction of document images, converting the color image into a black and white image, transmitting images to a server, and testing the accuracy of the images captured and transmitted.

In accordance with various embodiments, methods and systems for document image alignment, capture, transmission, and verification are provided such that accurate data capture is optimized. These methods and systems may comprise capturing an image on a mobile or stationary device, converting the color image into a black and white image, testing the accuracy of the image captured and transmitted, and processing the image for data extraction. Additionally, these may comprise aiding the user in capturing the image, providing geometric correction of document images, converting the image to black and white, transmitting both the images to a server, optimizing image size, analyzing images using iterative and weighting procedures, and comparing data the images to maximize data capture confidence.

  • Patent number: 8024670
Abstract: A method for performing a task, which includes generating a user interface with multiple screens where each screen corresponds to a step in a workflow used for performing the task; generating multiple live thumbnails which include miniaturized sections of the screens; displaying a first screen of the multiple screens and the multiple live thumbnails to a user using the user interface; populating a field on the first screen with input data entered by the user; determining a validity of the input data; updating a first live thumbnail of the multiple live thumbnails corresponding to the first screen based on the input data and the validity; receiving a screen selection from the user; displaying a second screen of the multiple screens corresponding to the screen selection; and updating a second live thumbnail of the multiple live thumbnails corresponding to the second screen based on the screen selection.
