    Abstract: A compact, easy to store, portable work surface and apparatus for fish, fowl, wild game and the like that is capable of temporary mounting to a tree or other vertical support is provided that includes a work surface/cutting board attached to a support frame having an upright stanchion to extend above the work surface and provided with a lower engagement member, preferably provided as a tined or forked member to engage a surface at multiple distinct points, for engaging and preferably partly straddling a tree or other vertical support. A lanyard is operatively coupled to upright stanchion above the work surface and is adapted to be draped and secured about the tree to suspend the frame from the tree.
