  • Patent number: 7266981
Abstract: A locker lock that provides for increased security and ease of use. The locker lock can be a vertical built-in lock or a horizontal built-in lock. In each case the lock is symmetrical such that it can be used in either right-handed or left-handed lockers. The locker lock provides for increased security by increasing the distance the lock bolt must travel. The locker lock also provides for an easy combination changing mechanism, such that the combination can be changed without opening the lock and the locker lock can accommodate a large number of lock combinations.

  • Patent number: 6766671
Abstract: A high-security shackleless lock is provided. The lock includes a shackle pin adapted to move between a closed position extending across a lock body recess to engage a staple; and an open, staple-free position. A lock bar mounted entirely within the lock body can be move between a closed shackle pin engaging position to retain the shackle pin in its staple-engaging position, and an open shackle pin-free position wherein the shackle pin does not extend across the lock body and cannot engage a staple. A shackle pin spring urges the shackle into its open position, and a lock bar spring urges the lock bar into its closed position. The shackle pin has a distal end formed with a head element of extended dimensions. The lock body defines a recess adapted to closely confront the shackle pin head when the shackle pin is located in its closed position.

  • Patent number: 5866874
Abstract: An improved robotic welding torch includes a conductive inner body tube with first and second receiving areas for receiving a rear housing retaining device and a robotic mount retaining device. A removable robotic mount is slidably positioned over the conductive inner body tube and is preferably held in a fixed axial position by the robotic mount retaining device on one end and a rear housing on the other end. The robotic mount may be replaced with another robotic mount of a desired diameter without dismantling the entire robotic torch assembly. The robotic welding torch may be assembled with an integrated robotic mounting arm in place of the robotic mount so that the torch assembly may be attached directly to a collision sensor on a welding robot.

  • Patent number: 5841105
Abstract: An improved automatic MIG welding torch assembly for use in automated welding environments includes a locking feature to provide an anti-rotational fit between a power adapter and a conductive inner body tube of a welding torch. The conductive inner body tube has a hollow body and a hexagonal shaped external circumference extending along at least a portion of the body tube. An outer tube for use in an automatic MIG welding assembly has a hollow body with at least one end having a polygonal cross-section. A pitch rack is detachably connected to the outer tube with at least two non-threaded fasteners. The outer body tube may also include a smoke exhaust integrally connected to the tube. Improved methods for assembling an automatic MIG welding torch and manufacturing the integral smoke exhaust are also provided.

  • Patent number: 5366392
Abstract: An electrical cable connector for releasably electrically connecting ends of an electrical cable comprises a female element coupled to one end of the electrical cable, and a male element coupled to another end of the electrical cable. The male element is releasably connectable with the female element. A locking groove is disposed on one of the female element and the male element. A screw is removably disposed on another one of the female element and the male element. A cam surface is located on the screw and is engagable with the locking groove such that the cam surface cams along the locking groove responsive to rotation of the female element relative to the male element to releasably connect the female element with the male element thereby electrically connecting the ends of the electrical cable. A slot is operatively associated with the locking groove.
