  • Publication number: 20220147884
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating non-conforming services are provided. A service entity can collaborate with a number of vehicle providers to facilitate a multi-modal transportation service. The service entity can obtain demand information for real-time or predicted requests for multi-modal transportation services and schedules for facilitating portions of the multi-modal transportation services. The schedules can be scheduled by a number of different vehicle providers according to scheduling preferences. The service entity can leverage the demand information to determine a non-conforming service in addition to the schedules that does not conform to a scheduling preference of a vehicle provider and provide a request to the vehicle provider to schedule the non-conforming service.

  • Patent number: 11326371
Abstract: A tool for adjusting the backset of a latch bolt. The latch bolt includes a latch bolt and a tailpiece. A housing receives the latch bolt and includes a transversely extending protrusion. A casing slidably receives the housing such that the protrusion on the housing is received in a slot on the casing and an inner end of the tailpiece extends from the housing and casing. The casing is rotated relative to the housing to allow relative axial movement between the casing and the housing when transitioning between the first backset position and the second backset position. The tool includes a member defining a first slot for receiving the inner end of the tailpiece and a pair of second slots for receiving the pair of ears such that rotation of the tool rotates the tailpiece and the casing simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20210303971
Abstract: Partial differential equations used to simulate physical systems can be solved, in one embodiment, by a solver that has been trained with a set of generative neural networks that operated at different resolutions in a solution space of a domain that defines the physical space of the physical system. The solver can operate in a latent vector space which encodes solutions to the PDE in latent vectors in the latent vector space. The variables of the PDE can be partially decoupled in the latent vector space while the solver operates. The domain can be divided into subdomains that are classified based on their positions in the domain.

  • Publication number: 20210295167
Abstract: Simulations of products during the design of the products can use solvers that are based on trained neural networks, and these solvers can provide results about the design of the product that can predict performance, failures, fatigue and other potential problems with the design. The neural network can include a generative neural network that is trained with a discretized version of a partial differential equation (PDE) that provides a model of the product in the simulation, and this discretized version acts as a discriminator that trains the neural network to provide solutions to the PDE.
