  • Publication number: 20240113511
Abstract: A protection circuit senses when one supply circuit in a group is activating to deliver current to a circuit component and issues firing signals to simultaneously activate other supply circuits in the group. The supply circuits may deliver large currents and high power. The protection circuit may prevent damage to a system that might otherwise occur if one supply circuit in the group activates in isolation.

  • Patent number: 11879794
Abstract: Described is a compression apparatus for a testing system having a load cell. The disclosed compression apparatus ensures proper seating relative to the load cell to yield accurate compression friction (CF) measurements. The disclosed compression apparatus includes a compression rod and at least one mechanical fastener. The compression rod has a first portion at a distal end and a second portion that defines a threaded bore at a proximal end. The first portion is configured to contact a specimen and the second portion is configured to couple to the load cell. The mechanical fastener is configured to mate with the threaded bore.

  • Publication number: 20230373099
Abstract: A system and method for teaching a painting robot using wireless signals. The system includes a robot teaching assembly having a teaching tablet and a cradle to which the tablet is mounted, where the tablet includes a screen and a tablet Wi-Fi radio. The system also includes a robot controller assembly having a robot controller and a controller Wi-Fi radio, where the tablet radio and the controller radio are in wireless communication with each other to transmit signals to teach the robot. The cradle includes an emergency stop button for stopping the robot and an enable switch that must be closed to allow the robot to operate. The emergency stop button and enable switch are electrically coupled to the robot controller assembly by a safety signal cable. The cradle and the teaching tablet are not electrically coupled.

  • Publication number: 20130131009
Abstract: This invention provides cell culture compositions which produce significant quantities of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The cell cultures are obtained from cells of mole rats, such as naked mole rats and blind mole rats. The high molecular weight hyaluronic acid can be collected in the conditioned media of these cell cultures. These cell cultures provide a convenient source of large quantities of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
