  • Patent number: 11685181
Abstract: A multilayer identification patch comprises a reflective layer and a design layer on top of the reflective layer. The design layer comprises an opaque body and at least one identification symbol void (ISV) to allow light to reflect from a portion of the reflective layer via the ISV. The opaque body of the design layer comprises multiple layers of cured photopolymer ink. The multiple layers of cured photopolymer ink comprise an opaque layer of colored photopolymer ink. In one embodiment, the multiple layers of cured photopolymer ink in the opaque body of the design layer further comprise a layer of clear photopolymer ink under the opaque layer of colored photopolymer ink. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 11511514
Abstract: A multi-layer identification patch includes a reflective background layer comprising a front side to face away from a garment when the multi-layer identification patch is affixed to the garment, and a mask layer secured over the front side of the reflective background layer. The mask layer comprises (a) an opaque layer of flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and (b) a void in the opaque layer of flexible PVC. The void has a shape that forms an identification symbol. The opaque layer of flexible PVC is secured over a first portion of the reflective background layer, thereby fixing the void that forms the identification symbol over a second portion of the reflective background layer, and thereby enabling the second portion of the reflective background layer to reflect light through the void in the shape of the identification symbol. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 8800466
Abstract: An inflatable watercraft is provided with multiple reinforced panels that are configured to form a center hull having a V-form. The center hull supports a floor that is coupled to a U-form collar. The panels also form a pair of outer side hulls respectively disposed on opposite sides of the center hull and which define a tunnel between the center hull and each of the outer side hulls.

  • Publication number: 20020126153
Abstract: An end-user interface system for a computer, telephone or other electronic apparatus used to access the Internet or operating in standalone mode for navigating, displaying, and manipulating folders and files, web page links, and Internet bookmarks, such that each displayed folder, file, web page link, or Internet bookmark is displayed in a cell on a grid. To activate or further explore a particular file, an end-user activates a key on a computer keyboard or numeric keypad of a telephone or other electronic apparatus that corresponds to a particular option located within a cell on the grid. Hierarchical information such as file or folder structure, web site organization, or Internet bookmarks are arranged into the grid configuration. Use of the interface allows the manipulation of hierarchical data structures using a simple keypad having keys which correspond to the physical organization of the displayed grid, thus alleviating the need to use cumbersome or confusing point and click devices.
