  • Patent number: 11532011
Abstract: A promotion processing system may include a point-of-sale terminal at a store to collect purchased product identifiers from products being purchased, and a promotion generation server. The server may obtain the collected purchased product identifiers from the point-of-sale terminal, determine a store-transaction count based upon the collected purchased product identifiers, and for each purchased product identifier, map the corresponding product to an aisle location within the store. The server may determine a corresponding aisle-transaction count for the aisle location corresponding to each product based upon the mapped aisle locations, and determine shopper paths of travel within the store based upon the store- and aisle-transaction counts. The server may identify a location within the store for an aisle violator sign for a promoted product located in one of the aisle locations based upon the shopper paths of travel and the aisle-transaction counts, and generate a digital promotion for the promoted product.

  • Patent number: 8883075
Abstract: An attractive and compact device and an effective method to store and disinfect a manual shaving razor are disclosed. The method reduces corrosion of the razor's metal blades. A compact container has separate but suitably connected chambers allowing for economy of use of as disinfectant liquid combining alcohol, detergent or soap and skin conditioner. By protecting the razor in one enclosed chamber, oxidative damage and rusting of blades is avoided. A knife edge element is placed at the bottom of another chamber to pierce the foil seal of a suitably inserted bottle within the other chamber. An optional third, drainage chamber below the other two chambers allows for appropriate drainage and removal both of excess fluid used, as well as hair and debris from the blades. The design of the device is compact and attractive, as is the method an extremely effective way of protecting and disinfecting the razor.

  • Patent number: 5275278
Abstract: A golf club shaft protector is disclosed as including a hollow plastic tube of predetermined diameter and length with open upper and lower ends. The length of the hollow plastic tube substantially corresponds to the length of a golf club shaft and can be pre-selected and cut to the appropriate length. A flexible restricted throat element extends across the open upper end of the hollow plastic tube for resilient deformation upon the insertion of a golf club handle to allow passage of the golf club handle and associated golf club shaft into the hollow plastic tube. The flexible restricted throat element subsequently returns to its initial shape for close fitting circumferential support of the golf club hosel at an upper end of the golf club shaft adjacent the golf club head. The predetermined diameter of the hollow plastic tube is dimensioned to at least substantially peripherally engage the golf club handle at least adjacent the open lower end.
