  • Patent number: 11972170
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for using machine learning to generate automated custom media experiences. Example methods may include determining a first user identifier of a first user present in an environment, determining a first set of media preferences of the first user using media presented in association with the first user identifier, and determining a second user identifier of a second user present in the environment. Methods may include determining a second set of media preferences of the second user using media presented in association with the second user identifier, generating, using a first machine learning model, a first playlist of media using the first set of media preferences and the second set of media preferences for presentation to the first user and the second user, the first playlist comprising first media and second media, and causing audible presentation of the first media.

  • Patent number: 9575745
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a deployment management system. A second version of a deployable application is executed concurrently with a first version. Network traffic sent to the first version of the application is redirected to the second version. In the event of an error, network traffic is directed back to the first version of the application. After a period of concurrent execution, the first version of the application is terminated.

  • Patent number: 9253194
Abstract: A computer is configured to impose an access restriction based upon user-provided information, such as a user's birthdate. In order to enforce such a restriction, the computer requests from a user an image of a valid identity document associated with the user, such as a valid driver's license. In response to receiving such an image from the user, the computer performs an image analysis on the image to extract user information. The computer might extract the user's name, address, birthdate, driver's license number, and/or other information from the image for instance. The computer may utilize the extracted information to determine whether the user should be granted access. The computer may determine based upon the extracted information, for instance, whether the age of the user is greater than a minimum age required to access the computer. The computer may be configured to restrict access to a Web site in this manner.
