  • Patent number: 10195476
Abstract: A weight bar system includes a weight bar, and two lock collars on each end of the weight bar for holding one or more weights on each end of the weight bar. The ends of the weight bar include circumferentially positioned grooves. A locking collar is engageable with the grooves both in an unlocked and a locked position. The locking collar includes a main body collar including pins which extend in a cross direction relative to the axis and are moveable radially inwardly and outwardly relative to the grooves. A rotatable collar includes a cam surface to move the pins radially inwardly to lock the locking collar to the weight bar. A stationary collar may also be provided to limit rotation of the rotatable collar, and to provide a gripping surface. A space on the lock collar may be provided to press against the weights.

  • Publication number: 20180133589
Abstract: An exercise game piece includes a body with opposite base ends shaped to permit the game piece to stand. An intermediate section divides the body between a first section and a second section. The intermediate section is smaller in dimension than each of the opposite base ends. Indicia distinguishes the first section from the second section. The game piece can be used as part of a kit and to play a variety of games.

  • Patent number: 6953897
Abstract: A device and method for clamping and grounding a cable, includes a conductive cable clamp. The clamp is adapted to clamp and conductively engage a periphery of a conductive shield of the cable. In one aspect of the invention, the cable clamp includes a first conductive plate and a second conductive plate. Each of the plates has at least one groove formed therein. The first plate is positionable against the second plate so that the groove in the first plate and the groove in the second plate collectively form a hole extending from one edge of the cable clamp to an opposite edge of the cable clamp, with the hole accommodating the cable therein. In another aspect of the invention, the cable clamp includes a conductive flexible fabric having at least one pattern formed therein, with the pattern accommodating the cable therein.

  • Patent number: 6595605
Abstract: A chassis for a computer, computer related or other electronic device includes a door that closes an access opening in the chassis when in the closed position and permits access to the interior of the chassis when opened for a user or service technician. A latch releasably secures the door in the closed position and is operable by a user or service technician for opening the door from the closed position and closing the door from the open position without the benefit of a screwdriver, wrench or other tool. In selected embodiments, the latch is biased to account for compression reaction forces of a seal or gasket surrounding the access opening while still providing for manual manipulation of the door and access to the interior of the chassis.

  • Patent number: 6556762
Abstract: A cable management bar and bracket assembly is mounted within an equipment enclosure. The brackets are supported on and movable along the bar to present cable support positions at various transverse locations. The brackets are of generally U-shaped configuration with cable supporting hooks formed in one depending flange and with inwardly projecting tabs formed in the other depending flange which extend beneath the bar to make the bracket captive on the bar. Slots formed in the bar at one axial location permit the bracket to be assembled to and removed from the bar when the tabs are aligned with and passed through the slots. The assembly also includes mounting brackets at each end of the bar which are formed integral with the bar of a single piece of material while the bar portion is formed as a downwardly opening U-shaped channel element.

  • Patent number: 6257924
Abstract: A stacked electrical connector assembly and cover arrangement includes a stacked electrical connector assembly that includes a lower electrical connector, and an upper electrical connector disposed over the lower electrical connector in a stacked relationship. Each of the lower electrical connector and the upper electrical connector have at least one lead, with the lead of the upper electrical connector being longer than the lead of the lower electrical connector. A cover is disposed over the leads to protect at least the lead of the upper electrical connector from damage. The cover includes a back wall, and an edge wall that projects outward from the back wall. The back wall and the edge wall collectively define a recess that accommodates at least the lead of the upper electrical connector therein.
