    Abstract: A submersible pump assembly that is capable of transporting water from a body of water, and methods of use thereof, are herein disclosed. The pump assembly includes a submersible pump, a power source for the pump, and a hose that pumps water from the body of water to a location on land. In certain embodiments, one or more filters may be used to remove particulates from the water prior to entering the submersible pump. Further, an anchor and warning pole may be incorporated to prevent the submersible pump from being displaced, and to provide notification to others in the water of the presence of the submersible pump and anchor.
