  • Patent number: 11920887
Abstract: A pre-pack assembly for use with an air gun and for use with a magazine that is removably insertable into the air gun, the pre-pack assembly includes a pre-pack that contains a gas canister, wherein inserting the pre-pack into the chamber of the magazine fluidly connects the gas canister with the magazine.

  • Publication number: 20220398231
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for generating derived dimensions within ingested data collections. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems generate derived dimensions that modify or correct one or more organizational schemas of an ingested data collection when querying the ingested data collection. For example, the disclosed systems receive a user-defined definition, and generates a fallback expression based on the user-defined definition and aligned to the schema of a particular ingested data collection. In at least one embodiment, the disclosed systems generate the derived dimension by identifying and modifying one or more existing dimensions in the schema based on the fallback expression when reading data from the ingested data collection.

  • Publication number: 20200129886
Abstract: A method is directed to separating contaminants from mammalian cells in an aqueous multiphase system, and includes loading a container with a liquid having a top liquid phase and a bottom liquid phase. A cover medium is inserted in the container with a mixture of cultured mammalian cells and contaminants. The container is incubated and centrifuged for respective periods of time. In response to the centrifuging, the cells are separated from the contaminants in accordance with the respective density of the cells, the contaminants, and each liquid phase, resulting in the cells being located at a liquid-to-liquid interface between the top liquid phase and the bottom liquid phase and the contaminants being located at the bottom of the container.

  • Publication number: 20160063137
Abstract: A system and method for fiber-composite part design. A method includes receiving a first fiber orientation field corresponding to a fiber-composite manufacturable part, the first fiber orientation field having a plurality of field rosettes each having a reference point and a corresponding direction vector. The method includes receiving a second fiber orientation field corresponding to the fiber-composite manufacturable part. The method includes identifying a first field rosette in the first fiber orientation field and a second field rosette in the second fiber orientation field that have corresponding reference points on the manufacturable part. The method includes comparing the first field rosette to the second field rosette to identify a fiber orientation difference between the first fiber orientation field and the second fiber orientation field at the corresponding reference point.

  • Patent number: 8655627
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for designing multilayer structures are described. The multilayer structures may be of simple or complex shapes having a volume to be filled by multiple layers of composite material. The composite material may include fiber/polymer composites. The methods facilitate distribution and reordering of layers within the multilayer structure during the design phase. Dimensional data for each layer within the structure may be provided as output data and used to cut “flat” patterns for each layer. The methods and apparatus can accelerate design and development of high-strength, composite multilayer structures.

  • Publication number: 20050216844
Abstract: User behavior on a website, including intra-page interactions, are tracked while avoiding the need to transmit each intra-page interaction to the data collection server via a separate request. Client-side code instructs the client to store intra-page interaction data in a local data store such as a cookie file. The client transmits the accumulated data to the data collection server in response to a triggering event. For example, data may be transmitted when a new page is loaded, or when the web browser application crashes or is terminated, or when the client machine is turned off, or at periodic intervals, or in response to any other type of triggering event.
