  • Publication number: 20240175356
Abstract: Light from a light source that has interacted with a sample of downhole fluid provided in a downhole optical tool is sequentially passed through a plurality of groups of light filters, each of the groups of light filters including of one or more light filters, to generate a data set for each of the groups of light filters, also referred to as a simultaneous channel group. The data generated for each of the simultaneous channel groups is then analyzed to determine if the data from that simultaneous channel groups is effective in providing information useful for the analysis of the sample of downhole fluid.

  • Publication number: 20240177115
Abstract: A method for implementing software-defined community clouds includes receiving, from a first requestor, a first access request requesting access to a first project of a plurality of projects. Each project includes project data governed by a compliance regime that enforces compliance requirements. The method includes, for each compliance requirement, determining that the first access request satisfies the compliance requirement. The method includes, based on determining that the first access request satisfies compliance requirements, granting the first requestor access to the first project. The method includes receiving, from a second requestor, a second access request requesting access to a second project and determining that the second access request fails to satisfy one of the one of the compliance requirements. The method also includes, based on determining that the second access request fails to satisfy one of the compliance requirements, denying the second requestor access to the second project.

  • Patent number: 11995792
Abstract: Computer-implemented system and method that allows for the rehabilitation of individuals with strabismus by leveraging commercially available VR headset technology. Eye tracking capabilities and external cameras of existing VR headsets, enables the system and method to first gather the image that the dominant, unaffected eye is focused on (FIG. 1). Then, given where the strabismus unaffected eye's gaze falls on its screen, the system and method will take the image and identify where that point lies on the strabismus affected eye's screen. This point is the ideal gaze point of the strabismus affected eye. The software solution disclosed herein will then warp the strabismus affected eye's screen so that this new gaze will line up with the unaffected eye's gaze.

Abstract: Improved systematic inversion methodology applied to formation testing data interpretation with spherical, radial and/or cylindrical flow models is disclosed. A method of determining a parameter of a formation of interest at a desired location comprises directing a formation tester to the desired location in the formation of interest and obtaining data from the desired location in the formation of interest. The obtained data relates to a first parameter at the desired location of the formation of interest. The obtained data is regressed to determine a second parameter at the desired location of the formation of interest. Regressing the obtained data comprises using a method selected from a group consisting of a deterministic approach, a probabilistic approach, and an evolutionary approach.

  • Patent number: 11995166
Abstract: Introduced here are approaches to authenticating unknown persons based on variations in the spatial properties and directionality of blood flow through vessels over time. At a high level, these approaches rely on monitoring vascular dynamics to recognize unknown persons. For example, an authentication platform may examine digital images of an anatomical region to establish how a property of the vasculature within the anatomical region changed as a result of deformation. Examples of properties include the position, size, volume, and pressure of vessels included in the vasculature, as well as the velocity and acceleration of blood flowing through the vasculature.

  • Publication number: 20240168625
Abstract: Techniques are provided for generating a digital image of simulated handwriting using an encoder-decoder neural network trained on images of natural handwriting samples. The simulated handwriting image can be generated based on a style of a handwriting sample and a variable length coded text input. The style represents visually distinctive characteristics of the handwriting sample, such as the shape, size, slope, and spacing of the letters, characters, or other markings in the handwriting sample. The resulting simulated handwriting image can include the text input rendered in the style of the handwriting sample. The distinctive visual appearance of the letters or words in the simulated handwriting image mimics the visual appearance of the letters or words in the handwriting sample image, whether the letters or words in the simulated handwriting image are the same as in the handwriting sample image or different from those in the handwriting sample image.

  • Patent number: 11989504
Abstract: Disclosed is a platform that manages worker users in a temporary staffing environment via an artificial machine learning model. The temporary staffing platform matches available workers to available shifts/gigs. Additional features include generating provisional or near-miss matches and informing workers how to turn those near-misses into full matches, plotting a gig-career path to develop additional skills, gamify development, and automatically generate resumes. The platform generates a set of skill tags associated with each shift/gig performed by the user. Designing of resume text files by the artificial machine learning model includes procedurally generated descriptions of experience the a user has based on the recording of each shift/gig performed by the user and the skill tags associated with each recorded shift/gig, wherein a format of the resume text file is formulated by the artificial machine learning model evaluating a mix of skill tags and employers amassed by the user.
