  • Patent number: 10648776
Abstract: A modular dovetail rail clamping assembly includes a polymer body and a metal fixed clamp component. A threaded fastener extends through the body and into the fixed clamp component to draw the fixed clamp component into engagement with the body. The fixed clamp component and the body have mating longitudinal ridge and groove structures which rigidly fix alignment of the fixed clamp component relative to the body when assembled. A metal movable clamp component opposes the fixed clamp. A threaded clamping fastener extends through the movable clamp component and the body, and is received into the fixed clamp component to draw the movable clamp component into engagement with the body. A removable, reversible crossbar extends transversely across the body between the fixed clamp component and the movable clamp component.

  • Patent number: 10634455
Abstract: An electronic weapon accessory system includes an electronic weapon accessory, such as a light, and a detachable mount with an integrated control switch. The electronic weapon accessory includes an electronic component, such as an LED, and a power source disposed within a housing. The electronic component and the battery are electrically connected with a circuit having electrical contacts exposed on an outer surface of the housing. The mount has a body with a clamp structure, a dome switch disposed on an outer surface of the mount body and a circuit having electrical contacts exposed on the outer surface of the mount body. Fasteners removably secure the mount body and accessory housing in assembled relation. When the electronic weapon accessory and mount are assembled, the accessory electrical contacts physically and electrically engaging the mount electrical contacts to complete an electronic control circuit and provide integrated control and operation of the electronic accessory.

  • Publication number: 20170195480
Abstract: A computing device receives an indication of a selected category of items relating to call quality for a plurality of voice calls, such as sites, wireless network identifiers, driver software versions, client software versions, protocols (e.g., virtual private network (VPN), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), and User Datagram Protocol (UDP)), connectivity methods, and edge servers used in the calls. The computing device selects items in the selected category based on volume of calls. The computing device calculates percentages of poor calls associated with the items, and identifies high-volume poor call items. The computing device also may calculate impact ranks for categories of items, e.g., based on distribution of poor calls, with a lower rank being assigned if poor calls are evenly distributed, and a higher rank being assigned if a small number of items contribute disproportionately to the volume of poor calls.

  • Publication number: 20170174510
Abstract: A method of fabricating a MEMS device. A first spacer is formed above a CMOS substrate containing circuitry. Vias are formed within the first spacer. A first metal is formed above the first spacer and vias and patterned to form a MEMS element. A second spacer is formed above the MEMS element and first spacer. A via is formed within the second spacer. A second metal is formed above the second spacer and the via. A capping layer is formed above the second metal. The second metal is patterned to form a second MEMS element. The device is cleaned using a developer solution while the capping layer protects the second MEMS element. The first and second spacers are removed to release the first and second MEMS elements.

  • Patent number: 9632308
Abstract: A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) is comprised of a micromirror device attached to a semiconductor device. A first spacer layer is formed and patterned to form hinge via openings. A hinge metal is deposited above the first spacer layer to form the hinge and the hinge vias. A capping layer is formed above the hinge metal and hinge vias. A second spacer layer is formed above the capping layer and patterned to form a mirror via. The capping layer protects the hinge metal from the developer solution used in the patterning step. The capping layer is removed from within the mirror via opening. Another metal layer is deposited above the second spacer layer to form the mirror and the mirror via.

  • Patent number: 9335540
Abstract: A microelectromechanical (MEMS) device has a movable member supported above a substrate on a via support. The member and via support are fabricated integrally from first and second member forming layers. A first member forming layer forms a lower part of the member and supporting structure for the via support. First and second fill layers are deposited and patterned to form a plug that fills an inner cavity opening in the via structure. The plug is planarized to a planar part of the first member forming layer, and a second member forming layer is deposited over the first member forming layer and the planarized plug to form an upper part of the member. The via support may have a cavity filled by BARC layers.

  • Publication number: 20160016860
Abstract: A method for increasing the rate of phosphine oxide reduction, preferably during a Wittig reaction comprising use of an acid additive is provided. A room temperature catalytic Wittig reaction (CWR) the rate of reduction of the phosphine oxide is increased due to the addition of the acid additive is described. Furthermore, the extension of the CWR to semi-stabilized and non-stabilized ylides has been accomplished by utilization of a masked base and/or ylide-tuning.
