  • Publication number: 20240134876
Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods are disclosed for importing data from electronic data files. In accordance with some embodiments, a file format is assigned to a source electronic data files by a data importation system. The data importation system may further identify a file type identifier associated with the source electronic data file and map the source electronic data file to a transformation template. The data importation system may further store the file format, file type identifier, and an indication of the transformation template as a file type profile associated with the source electronic data file in a database.

  • Publication number: 20230333236
Abstract: Estimating the ego-motion of a vehicle, e.g., the self-motion of the vehicle, can be improved by pre-processing data from two or more radars onboard the vehicle using a processor common to the two or more radars. The common processor can pre-process the data using a velocity vector processing technique that can estimate a velocity vector at each point of a predefined number of points, such as arranged in a grid in the field-of-view of radars, with coordinates (X, Y, Z (optional)), where U is the component of the velocity in the X-direction, V is the component of the velocity in the Y-direction, and W is the component of the velocity in the optional Z-direction.

  • Patent number: 11049624
Abstract: A liquid metal-cooled nuclear reactor includes, within a reactor pressure vessel, a primary electromagnetic pump (EMP) circulating liquid metal coolant through the reactor core and a backflow EMP. The nuclear reactor may be configured to at least partially mitigate liquid metal coolant backflow in response to a primary EMP failure. The backflow EMP is coupled in series with the primary EMP within the reactor pressure vessel. The backflow EMP may be selectively activated in response to failure of the primary EMP to mitigate liquid metal backflow through the primary EMP. The primary EMP and backflow EMP may receive power from separate power sources. Multiple backflow EMPs may be coupled in parallel to the primary EMP via parallel liquid metal coolant lines. A nuclear reactor may include multiple primary EMPs and multiple sets of backflow EMPs, where each separate set of backflow EMPs is coupled to a separate primary EMP.

  • Publication number: 20050080720
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systematically assessing an enterprise's security risks in view of a set of security patterns. Each pattern that is applicable to the enterprise's operation is then considered against the backdrop of a set of common attributes that are used, in turn, to further distinguish each pattern from a risk and security solution perspective. Using the disclosed techniques, specific security risks can be identified and appropriate security products can be selected to address those risks in a systematic manner, thereby assisting information technology decision makers across a wide variety of enterprises in deriving security solutions. These security solutions will typically be more effective and efficient from a functional perspective, as well as being more cost-effective, than security solutions created using prior art ad hoc approaches. The disclosed techniques may also be leveraged to create a requirements list for function to be included in a security product.
