  • Patent number: 8268196
Abstract: A joint compound for electrical connections is disclosed which includes an antioxidant base material and a quantity of stainless steel grit mixed with the antioxidant base material to provide improved mechanical pullout strength. The joint compound has a weight ratio of antioxidant to stainless steel grit in the range of from about 30:70 to about 90:10, preferably, from about 40:60 to about 70:30, and more preferably about 50:50. The stainless steel grit is cut wire having a diameter within the range of from about 0.012 inches to about 0.125 inches, with a preferred diameter within the range of from about 0.012 inches to about 0.030 inches, and 0.017 inches being a more preferred stainless steel grit diameter.

  • Patent number: 7703722
Abstract: A clamp used to create a bond between under floor wiring systems and a common bonding network. The clamp includes a mounting plate, a U-bolt and a split bolt for securing wires to the mounting plate. The mounting plate has an aperture and a slot. The U-bolt has a first end and a second end. The first end of the U-bolt is attached at the aperture of the mounting plate and the second end of the U-bolt is positioned within the slot of the mounting plate. The second end of the U-bolt is removed from the slot to enable the second end of the U-bolt to pivot away from the mounting plate enabling the U-bolt to engage a floor pedestal.

  • Publication number: 20030115919
Abstract: For use in a permutation lock, a combination of a bottom number and nose element and knob and dial element are provided. The knob portion of the knob and dial element defines an axially extending female recess having a plurality of formations (for example, eight flats arrayed in an octagon, or forty teeth) such as flats which are symmetrically disposed around the circumferential surface on the recess. In like manner, the nose portion of the bottom tumbler and nose element is provided with an axially extending male nose having a like number of similarly shaped surface elements adapted to fit within and snugly engage the knob and dial recess in any one of a finite plurality of angularly spaced apart positions.
