  • Publication number: 20240107286
Abstract: A method and system includes the ability for individuals to set up an ad hoc digital and voice network easily and rapidly to allow users to coordinate their activities by eliminating the need for pre-entry of data into a web or identifying others by name, phone numbers or email. This method is especially useful for police, fire fighters, military, first responders or other emergency situations for coordinating different organizations at the scene of a disaster to elevate conventional communication problems either up and down the chain of command or cross communication between different emergency units. The method and system provides that the users are only required to enter a specific Server IP address and an ad hoc event name, a password and perhaps the name of the particular unit.

  • Patent number: 11937999
Abstract: A wound debridement system includes a wound dressing having an active layer and a wound interface layer. The active layer is formed from one or more transmission layers that are arranged about a central post. Activation of the transmission layers is configured to cause the movement of the wound interface layer relative to a tissue site to which the wound dressing is applied. A drive unit is operably attached to the central post. The drive unit is configured to generate and transfer a vibrational energy and/or a rotational movement to the transmission layer(s) via the central post. The resultant vibration and/or rotation of the transmission layer(s) is imparted onto the wound interface layer, thereby effectuating the desired movement of the wound interface layer relative to the tissue site, which allows for the debridement of debris that may be located at the tissue site.

  • Patent number: 10582550
Abstract: Embodiments produce a set of instructions for connecting to a network through a network access point based on data crowdsourced from mobile computing devices. The crowdsourced data describes interactions between the mobile computing devices and the network access point when establishing a connection to the network. A cloud service analyzes the crowdsourced data to identify a set of instructions for association with the network access point. The mobile computing devices replay the set of instructions when subsequently attempting to connect to the network access point.

  • Patent number: 10382305
Abstract: Embodiments apply a set of sequenced instructions to connect to a network through a captive portal. A computing device detects a network access point and obtains the instruction set corresponding to the network access point. The instruction set is derived by a cloud service from crowdsourced data describing interactions between mobile computing devices and the network access point. Applying the instruction set includes performing actions such as navigating web pages to accept terms and conditions, provide user or device information, and more.
