    Abstract: The present invention is also a hands-on learning system which includes a model kit having a plurality of parts which when assembled form a three-dimensional mechanized action model. The hands-on learning system also includes means for instructing the student in mechanics with respect to the parts of the model kit, means for instructing the student in electricity with respect to the parts of the model kit and means for instructing the student on a subject which the model represents. Preferably, the hands-on learning system also comprises means for instructing the student in applied math skills relating to the parts of the model kit. Preferably, the assembled three-dimensional action model represents an animal and the means for instructing the student on a subject comprises means for instructing the student on a subject comprises means for instructing the student on biological facts related to the animal.
