  • Publication number: 20240053861
Abstract: Described herein are techniques to facilitate vehicular incident reenactment using three-dimensional (3D) representations. The techniques include presenting an image including 3D representations of one vehicle and one non-vehicular object related to a vehicular incident. The operations further include providing a message that requests manipulation of the 3D representations to reenact the vehicular incident. The operations further include receiving input and generating a 3D reenactment of the vehicular incident that includes the 3D representations of the at least one vehicle and at least one non-vehicular object.

  • Publication number: 20220366689
Abstract: Techniques include receiving image data representing an environment. Based at least in part on the image data, an identity of at least one object disposed within the environment is determined. Based at least in part on the image data, an image is displayed on an electronic device. The image includes a three-dimensional representation of at least a portion of the environment, a three-dimensional representation of the at least one object, and a three-dimensional representation of an assistant providing a request related to the at least one object. A first input is received from a user of the electronic device and based at least in part on the request. An object list is generated based at least in part on the first input and the identity of the at least one object, the list including the at least one object.

  • Patent number: 11393198
Abstract: Techniques for generating an insurance claim include receiving pupil data from an electronic device. The pupil data indicates a gaze direction of a user. Environment information is received from the electronic device, including point cloud data representing an environment in which the electronic device is currently disposed and a plurality of objects located within the environment. The techniques include determining an identity of an object of the plurality of objects based at least in part on the gaze direction and the environment information. The techniques include receiving, from the electronic device and via the network, information indicative of an input provided by the user, the input corresponding to the object, and comprising at least one of a first user utterance or a hand gesture. The techniques include generating an insurance claim based at least in part on the information and on the identity of the object.

  • Patent number: 6129455
Abstract: A bearing assembly comprises a bearing race received in a bore of a housing comprising a deformable housing material. The bearing race includes one or more recesses formed on a surface thereof disposed proximate the housing. Each recess receives housing material that has been deformed locally therein after the bearing race is received in the bore to prevent both rotational and axial motion of the bearing race relative to the housing.

  • Patent number: 6095778
Abstract: A combination thrust bearing/coupling apparatus is provided to simultaneously couple an orbiting scroll member with a stationary scroll member. Axial load carrying rolling spheres are provided between the locating indentations of the scroll members. The relative diameters of the spheres and width of the locating indentations permit the spheres to travel a distance equal to one-half of the orbit radius of the orbiting scroll member in all directions from a central position in the respective pair of locating indentations to maintain the predetermined angular relationship between said scroll members. A pair of facing clearance indentations are provided in the orbiting and fixed members. A sphere is provided between the clearance indentations. The relative diameters of the spheres and width of said clearance indentations permit the spheres to travel a distance greater than one-half of said orbit radius of said orbiting scroll member in all directions from a central position in the pair of clearance indentations.
