  • Publication number: 20240174865
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a coating composition comprising a film-forming binder, and a corrosion inhibitor comprising a polysulfide corrosion inhibitor, wherein the polysulfide corrosion inhibitor has a passive window value measured as a solution over a substrate greater than the passive window value of a solution without the corrosion inhibitor tested over the same substrate, as measured according to the PASSIVE WINDOW TEST METHOD, and the poly sulfide corrosion inhibitor has a polarization resistance (Rp) measured as a solution over a substrate greater than the polarization resistance (Rp) of a solution without the corrosion inhibitor tested over the same substrate, as measured according to the LINEAR POLARIZATION RESISTANCE TEST METHOD.

  • Publication number: 20220265405
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provides oral applicators and methods for applying a substance to a site inside a mouth cavity of a human or an animal. An oral applicator includes a body adapted for being held by a human hand. The oral applicator further includes an applicator head extending from the body. The applicator head also includes an applicator surface distally located in relation to the body and adapted for use in applying the substance to the site. Further, the oral applicator includes a gas stream generator present near the applicator head for directing a stream of gas from the applicator head. The site may be dried during at least one of prior to, during and after an application of the substance. The stream of gas may be directed via an outlet proximate to the applicator surface.

  • Patent number: 10943138
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to biometric analysis systems generally including one or more illumination sources, a camera, and an analysis module. The illumination sources are configured to illuminate at least a portion of a face of a subject. The camera is configured to capture one or more images of the subject during illumination of the face of the subject. The analysis module is configured to analyze the one or more images captured by the camera to determine an indication of liveliness of the subject and prevent spoofing.
