Abstract: A wireless-networked stroller access control system includes a plurality of wireless-networked strollers, each having stroller framework for carrying a passenger, and having a set of wheels mounted on an axle. A device-level machine-readable code is displayed on a surface associated with the stroller system. A wheel brake assembly is arranged with the set of wheels and has a locked position, and an unlocked position. A manually-actuated control bar assembly is mounted on the stroller framework, arranged with respect to the wheel brake assembly, and has a locked state of operation and an unlocked state of operation. A wireless wheel-axle locking control module is arranged in wireless communication with a wireless communication infrastructure, and configured with the manually-actuated control bar assembly to control the state of operation of the manually-actuated control bar assembly and also the wheel brake assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220051513
Abstract: A GPS-tracked wireless-networked wheelchair system includes a wheelchair framework for carrying a passenger, and having a set of wheels adapted to rotate. A device-level machine-readable code is displayed on a surface associated with the wheelchair system. A brake assembly is arranged with the set of wheels and has a locked position, and an unlocked position. A wireless control module is operably connected to a wireless communication network. When a web-enabled mobile phone is used to (i) scan the device-level machine-readable code displayed on the wheelchair system, (ii) complete a wheelchair rental transaction over the wireless communication network, and (iii) obtain access control over the rented wheelchair system, then the wireless wheel locking control module unlocks the brake assembly, and the wheelchair framework is allowed to move relative to the ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20210317796
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for identifying a change in the operating behavior of a crankshaft drive of a motor vehicle. In particular, the disclosure relates to a method for identifying error states of a torsional-vibration damper in the crankshaft drive, such as a jamming or slipping of a secondary mass of the torsional-vibration damper. The crankshaft drive comprises a crankshaft, a pulse generator that rotates when the crankshaft is in operation and a fixed sensor device, which generates a rotational speed signal N as a function of the rotational speed of the pulse generator.

  • Patent number: 11118522
Abstract: A method for detecting a change in the operating behaviour of a crank drive of a motor vehicle such as cracks in the crank drive or for detecting bearing wear. The crank drive includes a crankshaft, a pulse generator generating a signal S dependent on the rotational speed of the pulse generator and the distance of the pulse generator away from the sensor device. The method includes steps of detection of a current signal Scur of the sensor device during the operation and comparing the current signal Scur with a reference signal Sref stored in a memory and detecting a change in the operating behaviour of the crank drive such as cracks in the crank drive or bearing wear, from the comparison of the current signal Scur with the reference signal Sref.

  • Publication number: 20170237831
Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from improved bandwidth compression techniques. For example, certain communication systems may benefit from a radio fronthaul traffic compression on a frequency domain data. A method can include identifying a composite waveform corresponding to a real component and an imaginary component of a frequency domain data at a first device. The method may also include causing a transmission of a value that represents the composite waveform to a second device from the first device.
