  • Patent number: 11988520
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to monitoring data in and around a vehicle to predict anomalous, e.g., unsafe, road conditions, and using the data to suggest a corrective action to avoid the unsafe road conditions. A computing device receives information indicative of imagery, sound, or vehicle operation via sensors and/or cameras mounted in or near a vehicle. The information may be received via the vehicle itself or via a device. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of an anomalous road condition. The computing device also receives vehicle operation data extracted from one or more vehicle sensors. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of unsafe road conditions, and if there is, the computing device may output a notice or alert via a notification system to alert the driver.

  • Patent number: 11968595
Abstract: A method of determining a physical location for an address. The method includes receiving from a first global positioning system on a vehicle a first set of global positioning data indicative of a vehicle location. The method may also receive from a second global positioning system on a portable electronic device a second set of global positioning data indicative of a portable electronic device location. The method may also receive a set of location metadata associated with a picture. The method determines a residence location from the first set of global positioning data, the second set of global positioning data, or the set of location metadata. The method then associates the physical location to the address.

  • Patent number: 11956623
Abstract: Processing sound in an enhanced reality environment can include generating, based on an image of a physical environment, an acoustic model of the physical environment. Audio signals captured by a microphone array, can capture a sound in the physical environment. Based on these audio signals, one or more measured acoustic parameters of the physical environment can be generated. A target audio signal can be processed using the model of the physical environment and the measured acoustic parameters, resulting in a plurality of output audio channels having a virtual sound source with a virtual location. The output audio channels can be used to drive a plurality of speakers. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20240111844
Abstract: A method of integrating a cryptographic digital asset into a digital software application, includes receiving a digital asset identification (ID) code, the digital asset ID code existing together with a unique owner ID code on a distributed blockchain ledger. The digital asset ID code represents the cryptographic digital asset, and the cryptographic digital asset comprises a plurality of attributes. A virtual object is then represented on the display via the digital software application. The virtual object has an appearance that is based on the plurality of attributes of the cryptographic digital asset, and the virtual object includes a plurality of object attributes. The method further includes modifying at least one of the object attributes according to an aspect of the digital software application or interaction between the character avatar and the virtual object and representing a modified virtual object on the display via the digital software application.

  • Patent number: 11873930
Abstract: A locking quick connect assembly is provided for removably coupling a first tube and a second tube. A quick connect housing presents a central bore for receiving the second tube. A redundant latch component positionable between an unlocked position and a locked position may be provided to slidingly engage the quick connect housing. A twist lock retainer surrounds the quick connect housing and the redundant latch component. The redundant latch component includes an axially extending latch retaining arm and the twist lock retainer includes a locking channel for receiving the latch retaining arm. The twist lock retainer also includes a twist lock retaining arm that locks against a bead of the second tube to resists separation. The twist lock retaining arm extends transversely to and radially inwardly of the locking channel to engage the latch retaining arm to prevent unwanted decoupling of the assembly. A handle extends from the redundant latch component in a direction opposite the latch retaining arm.

  • Publication number: 20230173481
Abstract: A method of analyzing a fecal sample containing parasitic material and non-parasitic material. The fecal sample is first deposited into a carrier containing a flotation medium. The carrier is then shaken to disperse the fecal sample in the flotation medium. The fecal sample is then allowed to settle under gravity or by centrifugation. A filter device is then inserted into the carrier to separate the parasitic material from the non-parasitic material and to collect the parasitic material. The collected parasitic material is then poured into a capture filter for analysis.
