  • Patent number: 11919028
Abstract: A fluid atomizer and methods of atomizing fluids are disclosed. The fluid atomizer may comprise an inner member and one or more outer members. The inner member defines an interior conduit for providing a first-fluid flowpath from a supply end of the atomizer to a discharge end of the atomizer along a central axis. The one or more outer members are positioned radially outward of the inner member from the central axis. The inner and outer members define a second-fluid flowpath extending from a second-fluid supply conduit to a second-fluid discharge plenum. The second-fluid flowpath comprises a tangential conduit spiraling along the axis from the second-fluid supply conduit to a terminal end; an annulus downstream from and in fluid communication with the tangential conduit; and a second-fluid discharge plenum downstream from and in fluid communication with the annulus.

  • Patent number: 11725678
Abstract: A rail element (10, 33) for a camera slider system or, more generally, a tube joiner for a rail comprised of an expansion device (23, 30), located internally at an open end (12, 32) of a tubular body (11, 33). The expansion device is configured to fit within a male part or joiner element (16, 31) that may be inserted into the end of the tube (10, 33) and can be actuated to an expanded state where it exerts force radially outwards through the joiner (16, 31) to hold it against the open end (12, 32), thereby joining two tubular or rail element ends together.

  • Publication number: 20230191276
Abstract: A method of concentrating a process fluid, including a carrier fluid, including: (a) maintaining a process fluid at a predetermined temperature value/range; (b) evaporating the carrier fluid from the process fluid to produce a concentrated process fluid; (c) monitoring at least one process variable of steps (a) or (b) to detect fouling formed in either step (a) or (b); and (d) initiating a cleaning protocol if the process variable deviates from a predetermined value/range to reduce the fouling formed.

  • Patent number: 11061302
Abstract: A quick release mount system having a mounting plate with opposed sides, each includes latching surfaces, adapted to be received into a base member having a socket. The mounting system further includes at least one movable latching member for engaging with the latching surface of the mounting plate to prevent separation of the mounting plate from the socket. The mounting system also includes a locking mechanism for clamping said mounting plate within the socket, by pushing the mounting plate in a direction perpendicular to the base, and against the at least one latching member.

  • Publication number: 20160009111
Abstract: A printhead is mounted on a printhead carriage and a transport mechanism moves media past the printhead for printing. The printhead is driven between printing positions and maintenance positions. A printhead maintenance assembly is mounted on a maintenance carriage. When the printhead is moved to the maintenance position, a reciprocal drive is caused to move the maintenance assembly to selected positions to enable selected maintenance operations to be performed on the printhead.
