  • Publication number: 20220383717
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for monitoring and managing parts, enterprise resources and other assets, and alleviating risks, in a complex collaboration environment are provided. According to some example aspects of the invention, a device with a hardware- and software-based control system scans and/or writes unique asset-related information within a plurality of chemical, electromagnetic, or written data-bearing tags within, on or throughout an asset for use in a manufacturing, maintenance and/or tracking process. In other example aspects, the system records that asset-specific information (e.g., using secure network(s) and/or a blockchain), providing it for later access and modification by a number of trusted users, to track and control manufacturing-, maintenance-relevant or other factors. In still other example aspects, an enterprise resource planning system both outputs information to, and receives information from, the control system, reconciling changes in the data.

  • Patent number: 11478167
Abstract: New activity recognition, recording, analysis and control techniques, systems and sensors are provided. In one embodiment, multiple sensory tags with unique identification and data transfer attributes, create positional, movement, orientation and acceleration data and supply it to a control system. The tags may be placed at location(s) on the user's body, clothing, personal effects, exercise equipment and other activity-relevant locations, to enhance activity recognition and mapping. The system may define a personal activity space, sample data preferentially from that space, and perform a simplified form of object-recognition to determine, record and analyze user activities.

  • Publication number: 20220332485
Abstract: New self-threading cords, tapes, cables and/or ropes (“ties”) are provided, with a plurality of ports through their length. In some embodiments, a perimeter of each of the ports matches at least one first perimeter of the tie, and an end of the tie may be threaded through any of the ports (a.k.a., “self-threading” the tie). In some embodiments, ridges are provided on or about at least part of the tie. In some embodiments, the ridges may be threaded through the ports, and the ridges hold the tie in a fastened position. Due to the plurality of ports and possible self-threading actions, a wide variety of fastening actions may be carried out.

  • Patent number: 11268789
Abstract: New systems, devices and methods for extremely precise aiming and shooting of firearms by relatively unskilled users are provided. In some embodiments, shots may be planned in advance. In some embodiments, a device including specialized computer hardware and software aids a user in planning a shot(s), evaluating the accuracy of the planned shot(s), adjusting the location of the planned shot(s), and executing the planned shots. In some embodiments, the system may prevent shots where motion, acceleration and positioning of the device and/or firearm relative to the planned shot location(s) and/or the surrounding environment may cause an inaccurate shot, but execute shots where those factors facilitate a highly accurate shot. In some embodiments, the control system may similarly account for, counteract and/or otherwise adjust for any other relevant ballistic and other accuracy-impacting factors with a position-actuable firing mechanism to maintain a projected flight path of such a point of impact.

  • Publication number: 20220038138
Abstract: New wireless power distribution and payment techniques are disclosed. In some aspects of the invention, a system distributes wireless power from a power source, through a network of wireless power transmission, enhancement and consumption devices, each of which may be independently owned and controlled. The system may create monetary payments and charges based on each device's use and/or facilitation of the wireless power provided through the network. In some embodiments, the system may determine monetary credits and/or debits based on the type and amount of power provided by, or other qualities of, wireless power enhancement devices implemented by the network, and users thereof. For example, in some embodiments, the system determines a rating (e.g., based on efficiency or superiority of the power source) of at least one of wireless power enhancement devices.
