Abstract: The present application provides an arthroscopic system, which comprises an arthroscope having a distal end and a proximal end, a light source attached to the distal end of the arthroscope for providing a light, a lens attached to the distal end of the arthroscope for gathering the light, an image sensor set up next to the lens for generating digital raw data from the light, a transmitter set up between the distal end and the proximal end for transmitting the digital raw data toward the proximal end, a processing system attached to the proximal end for capturing and converting the digital raw data into digital video data and a video display device for displaying said digital video data. The present application eliminates the possibility of infecting the patient with contaminated devices by its cost-effectively disposable arthroscope. The present application also provides a method for image transmitting in an arthroscopic system.

Abstract: A system and method for combining endorsements in related webpages, the method including receiving an indication of an endorsement at a first webpage, incrementing a primary count of the first webpage in response to receiving the indication, determining if the first page is related to one or more other webpages, identifying the one or more other webpages related to the first page, if it is determined that the first page is related to one or more other webpages, incrementing a secondary count of the first webpage and the one or more other webpages if it is determined that the first page is related to one or more other webpages in response to receiving the indication and providing the secondary count for display at the one or more of the first webpage or the one or more other webpages.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for processing speech inputs for a controlling one or more vehicle systems of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving speech input from an audio channel; performing, by a processor, speech recognition on the speech input to obtain recognized results; determining, by a processor, an accuracy level of the audio channel based on a comparison of the recognized results and predictive phraseology; determining, by a processor, an integrity level of the audio channel based on situational awareness information; communicating the recognized results, accuracy level, and the integrity level to a vehicle system; and selectively using the recognized results by the vehicle system based on the accuracy level and the integrity level.

Abstract: A cast equipment including a fixed element, a filling device with a first site fastened to the fixed element, and a pressure sensor attached to the filling device is disclosed in this application. The pressure sensor is able to detect and collect pressure data, and the fixed element has a first container and a shape-retaining moldable material inside the first container. The present application provides an equipment to detect a pressure data to a casted region. A method for using the cast equipment is also provided in this application.

Abstract: An impeller includes a back cover plate, and vanes and a hub disposed on the back cover plate. The impeller further includes a sealing ring disposed on one end of the impeller away from the back cover plate. A pump using the impeller includes a volute housing and a driving device. The volute housing includes a diffusor chamber, an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. The impeller is rotatably received in the diffusor chamber and connected to the driving device. A baffle portion is disposed on an end wall in the diffusor chamber adjacent the inlet pipe. The baffle portion engages with the sealing ring to prevent back flow of the fluid. The pump has enhanced fluid delivery efficiency. The back cover plate may further define arc strip-shaped balance holes for reducing an axial force applied to the impeller, such that rotation of the impeller is more stable.

Abstract: An electric pump has a pump casing, a sealing plate, an impeller and a motor for driving the impeller. The pump casing has a main body. A recess is formed in the main body and with the sealing plate defines a pump chamber. A suction port is connected to the pump chamber by a suction channel and a suction passage formed in the main body. A discharge port is connected to the pump chamber by a discharge channel. The suction passage extends axially from the recess. The recess, suction passage, suction channel and discharge channel are all shaped in a manner allowing the pump casing can be molded as a monolithic structure in a single injection molding process.

Abstract: A method for detecting noncompliance with aviation regulations and operating procedures is disclosed herein. The method analyzes communication associated with a host aircraft to identify key information, stores the identified key information in a data storage device, and determines whether a particular aviation regulation or operating procedure applies to the host aircraft. After determining that a regulation or operating procedure applies, the stored key information is compared against reference information maintained in a database in association with the regulation or operating procedure. An alert is generated when the comparing detects a discrepancy between the stored key information and the reference information.

Abstract: A centrifugal pump has an electric motor, an impeller driven by the motor and a spiral volute. The impeller has an annular base plate and a plurality of vanes arranged on the base plate. The spiral volute has an inlet, an outlet and an impeller chamber in which the impeller is disposed. The inlet extends outwardly from a top wall of the volute. The outlet extends outwardly from a side wall of the volute in the spiral direction of the volute. The spiral volute has a wrap angle between 360 to 460 degrees. A washing apparatus incorporating the centrifugal pump is also provided.

The method according to the embodiment is capable of treating the local tissue area with enzymes for enhancing cell proliferation in the treated tissue area and preventing damage of the adjacent normal tissues. A device and kit used for the method are also provided.
