  • Patent number: 6382558
Abstract: A safety system is provided on a helicopter by mounting a parachute within a cylinder located in a hollow drive shaft of the propeller or in an external container. Four auxiliary parachutes are located in front and behind, and to the left and right of the propeller. The propeller may be locked in a predetermined angular position by a braking system of the drive shaft when the helicopter is disabled in an air accident such that the auxiliary parachutes are located in the spaces between the propeller blades for their safe deployment for suspending the helicopter in air. Speed reducing jets are provided for reducing the falling speed of the helicopter and for landing it safely on the ground. Inflatable bags are provided for maintaining the helicopter afloat when it falls on to a body of water or to cushion its landing impact on the ground.

  • Publication number: 20020030136
Abstract: Three methods of deploying safety parachutes from a helicopter for landing it in case of an accident are shown. They solve the problem of the parachutes becoming tangled with the large propeller of a helicopter in such circumstances. Additionally, speed reduction jets are provided to reduce the falling speed of the helicopter to achieve its safe landing. Inflatable air bags are provided on both sides of its belly and inflatable tubular gaskets are provided around the door joints for sealing these joints such that when falling onto water, the helicopter would float safely to await for rescue. Inflatable air bags are also provided to reduce the impact of the helicopter upon landing on the ground.

  • Patent number: 4692593
Abstract: A domestic electric kiln which also can be used as an ordinary electric radiator, comprised of: a heat resistant frame body with electric coils equipped around in its inner wall; a cover with an opening in its center; a safety lock on the other side of the cover; a water pipe for generating steam; a supporting plate which also facilitates the spreading of the steam throughout the inner chamber; a shell with double walls which serves an an air-cooling mechanism and a temperature regulator. The device is characterized by continuous flow of both steam and hot air in the kiln chamber, thus, enabling one to make high quality products of chinaware or pottery by oneself at home.
