    Abstract: A wireless network configuration method and system for a smart appliance, wherein the smart appliance can start a client mode and an AP mode to connect with a wireless network AP and a portable electronic device separately. When the smart appliance established the connection with the wireless network AP, it will switch from the AP mode to a hidden SSID mode automatically. If an SSID and password of the access point have been stored in the portable electronic device, the portable electronic device will transmit these data to the smart appliance to simplify the operation for wireless network configuration. Besides, the smart appliance will keep connecting with the portable electronic device and disappearing in an available wireless network list of the portable electronic device in the hidden SSID mode. The advantages of this invention are full function and ease of operation.

    Abstract: A navigating method and a navigation apparatus capable of real-time road image identification are disclosed. The apparatus equips a camera used to capture the road image in some specific sections, and the image is used to be identified, so that the navigation accuracy can be improved. The preferred embodiment of the navigating method includes the steps of determining a section to be identified, and capturing the road image by means the camera installed in a vehicle, and retrieving the digitized road image which is used to compare the road image from an image database synchronously, and identifying the road, and transferring the identification result to a navigation system for producing the navigation information via vocal or a displayer.

    Abstract: A display control system is provided. The display control system includes a first wireless apparatus and a second wireless apparatus. The first wireless apparatus processes a search function to obtain the character of the second wireless apparatus, and confirms whether the second wireless apparatus can connect to the first wireless apparatus according to the second apparatus character. When the second wireless apparatus is able to connect, the first wireless apparatus wirelessly connects to the second wireless apparatus, and outputs a first display signal to the second wireless apparatus. When the second wireless electronic apparatus is connectable, the first wireless electronic apparatus wirelessly connects to the second wireless electronic apparatus, and receives an input event from a second input interface of the second wireless apparatus.     Abstract: A method and system for setting the destination of a navigation system based on the message recorded in an electronic document is provided. This system transforms an address recorded in an electronic document into positioning data, which is recognizable to a navigation system, by means of a software application. Particularly, the electronic document is provided by an electronic document module, which includes electronic mail, mobile phone messages, web pages and an electronic maps. Those kinds of electronic documents may have address information with a specific format. The software application transforms the address information into the recognizable positioning data and sets a destination. After that, the system calculates a navigation route according to the destination.

    Abstract: A notebook computer with exchangeable LCD (liquid crystal display) unit is provided. The notebook computer makes use of a connector secured to the bottom of the LCD unit by fixing to a printed circuit board which is electrically coupled to the LCD unit and an LCD energy converter, engagement members secured to hinges of LCD unit for coupling the LCD unit and the body together, a bracket extended from one end of one engagement member for securing to the printed circuit board, and a receptacle on the body engaged with the connector. This eliminates the wiring process of prior art, resulting in a reduction of assembly time. Also, this makes a replacement of different size LCD unit possible.
