In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method which can be implemented on a system to generate a blueprint of a security device. In one embodiment, the method includes generating a candidate of the blueprint which is embedded with chaosmetric features. A printed copy of the candidate of the blueprint can be inspected to determine a chaosmetric metric of the printed copy of the candidate of the blueprint.

    Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for authentication of security devices having chaosmetrics features are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method which can be implemented on a system to perform authentication of a security device. In one embodiment, the method includes detecting a scan of the security device by a user device, identifying a rotational orientation of the user device in relation to the security device and/or generating a fingerprint of the security device specific to the user device having the rotational orientation in relation to the security device. An image similarity index of an authentication scan of the security device and the fingerprint generated for the security device can be determined and a positive authentication result can be identified for the authentication request of the security device responsive to determination that the image similarity index exceeds a threshold value.

The composite pattern can created from created from joining of an imprint of a first base pattern and an imprint of a second base pattern. The first base pattern can be created from a first basic building block. In one embodiment, the first base pattern is a fractal pattern based on the first basic building block which forms chaosmetric artifacts in the physical surface upon printing.

    Abstract: Techniques to validate authenticity of association of a physical entity with a non-fungible token and/or to create the non-fungible token having a verifiable association with the physical entity are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method which can be implemented on a system to verify that a given physical object associated a non-fungible token on a distributed ledger network is an authentic physical object. In one embodiment, the method includes retrieving authentication metadata for a security device generated from initiating authentication of the security device associated with the given physical object. It can be determined whether the authentication metadata for the security device includes an identifier of the non-fungible token.

    Abstract: Systems and methods to authenticate a security device are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method for capturing, by an optical sensor, sequential image frames of the security device. From the sequential image frames of the security device, changes to an optical property of the security device can be measured. The optical property can include an optical refractive property. In a further embodiment, changes in optical refractive properties of the security device can be identified from the changes to the optical property measured from the security device. It can be further determined whether the changes in the optical property matches or fails to match a valid change.

    Abstract: Systems and methods to perform verification of physical control of a security device by a user are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method for identifying a symbol in a first image frame of a microlens array of the security device and/or determining a position of the symbol relative to a predetermined point on a 2D plane of the security device. In a further embodiment, a rate of change of the position of the symbol between a second image and the first image frame of the microlens array can be determined. The physical control of the security device by the user is, for example, ascertained if the user is in close proximity to the security device of if the security device is within a line of sight of the user.
