    Abstract: A radiation pattern insulator and an antennae system thereof are proposed. The radiation pattern insulator includes a dielectric substrate and a plurality of radiation pattern insulation elements. The dielectric substrate allocated between a plurality of antennae includes a top surface and a bottom surface, and a normal direction of the dielectric substrate is substantially perpendicular to propagation directions of electromagnetic waves radiated from the antennae. In addition, the radiation pattern insulation elements are allocated on the top surface or the bottom surface of the dielectric substrate, or alternatively, all allocated on the top surface and the bottom surface.

    Abstract: A multi-band multi-antenna system and a communication device thereof are provided. The multi-band multi-antenna system includes at least one ground, two antenna units, a coupling conductor line and a grounding conductor line. Both of the two antenna units have at least one conductor portion, a low-pass filtering portion and an extending conductor portion. Each antenna unit generates at least one higher and lower operating bands. The low-pass filtering portion is electrically coupled between the conductor portion and the extending conductor portion, and effectively decreases dependent relationship between the higher and lower operating bands. The coupling conductor line is disposed nearby the two antenna units and has a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion. The grounding conductor line is disposed between the two antenna units and connected to the ground.

    Abstract: A multiband antenna having a ground plane and a radiating portion is provided. The radiating portion includes a first metal portion, a second metal portion, an inductively-coupled portion, and a third metal portion. The first metal portion has a first coupling metal portion and a signal feeding line electrically connected thereto. The second metal portion has a second coupling metal portion and a shorting metal portion electrically connected thereto with a shorting point connected to the ground plane. The first and second coupling metal portions are coupled and a capacitively-coupled portion is formed therebetween. The inductively-coupled portion is connected between the third and second metal portions. The first and second metal portions enable the antenna to generate a first operating band. The first, second and third metal portions enable the antenna to generate a second operating band, the frequencies of which are lower than those of the first operating band.

    Abstract: A structure for adjusting electromagnetic wave (EM wave) penetration response includes a plurality of structure units and a dielectric substrate with an upper surface and a lower surface. The structure units are disposed on the upper surface and/or the lower surface. The structure unit consists of metal lines or complementary slits so as to enable an EM wave penetration response of the structure to include a pass band and a stop band. The frequency of the stop band is higher than that of the pass band. If a distance between the structure and an object with a high dielectric constant is longer than a predetermined distance, the pass band covers a radiation frequency of an antenna. If the distance between the structure and the object with the high dielectric constant is within the predetermined distance, the stop band covers the radiation frequency of the antenna.

The antenna is disposed on a dielectric substrate and includes a radiating metal portion, a coupling metal portion, and an inductive shorting metal portion. The coupling metal portion is coupled to the radiating metal portion to form a first coupling portion and is connected to a source through a connecting metal strip. One end of the inductive shorting metal portion is electrically connected to the radiating metal portion, and the other end is electrically connected to the ground plane. The inductive shorting metal portion includes a first fractional section coupled to the radiating metal portion to form a second coupling portion, and a second fractional section coupled to the coupling metal portion to form a third coupling portion.

The photovoltaic material is used for converting photon energy into electrical energy, and the conducting electrodes collect and transfer the electrical energy generated by the photovoltaic material. The arrangement of the conducting electrodes forms a frequency selective surface placed in the transmitting or receiving path of the antenna. The frequency selective surface and the antenna have a spacing there between. The projection of the frequency selective surface in the transmitting or receiving path of the antenna covers the antenna.
