  • Patent number: 10779352
Abstract: The disclosure is related to a multi-gateway communication method. The method is applied to a wireless gateway system that includes multiple nodes including a number of gateways. A root gateway is provided among the gateways. When a gateway receives an uplink data from a node, the uplink data is transmitted to a backend server if the gateway is the root gateway. The uplink data is transmitted to a parent gateway if the gateway is not the root gateway. On the other hand, when the gateway receives downlink data from a node, it is determined if a destination node is recorded in a downlink routing table of a descendant gateway if gateway is not connected with the destination node but with the descendant gateway. If the destination node is recorded in the downlink routing table, the data is transmitted to the descendant gateway; otherwise, the downlink data is discarded.

  • Publication number: 20200021647
Abstract: The present invention detects bidirectional sessions of flows for finding P2P botnets. Unidirectional flows are combined to obtain the bidirectional sessions. The present invention is a method based on Netflow. The purpose is to highlight bidirectional sessions in a unidirectional Netflow log for determining malware activities. In addition, the present invention uses megadata for development and is implemented on MapReduce platform. Through a novel multi-layer unsupervised grouping algorithm for exploring similar bidirectional sessions, activities of the P2P botnet are analyzed. The novel grouping algorithm is coordinated with density-based clustering process to repeatedly analyze the Netflow log. Each algorithm layer extracts out a group and, in the end, collections with similar malicious behaviors are clustered out. At last, an actual Netflow log is used to prove that the present invention has a reliability up to 95%. Thus, the present invention can effectively strengthen national security information.

  • Publication number: 20190334690
Abstract: The disclosure is related to a method and a system for long-distance full-duplex wireless communication. The system is mainly composed of a control circuit, at least one wireless transmission module and one or more wireless gateway modules. The wireless gateway module can receive data from a terminal node via one of multiple channels. The control circuit instructs a wireless transmission module to transmit data. The system utilizes the wireless transmission module to deal with the data from the gateway modules. In the method, in order to achieve full-duplex communication, the system obtains transmission parameters of every terminal node, sets up a transmission schedule with respect to signals having various frequencies within designated time slots according to the operating environment of the node, assigns a transmission priority within the time slots and stores the setting in the node.

  • Patent number: 8649328
Abstract: A system and a method for controlling a power line network are provided. In the system and the method, a control unit device in every control network generates its own control network identification (CNID) and sends query messages to the other control networks to ensure each CNID is unique in the signal-reachable networks. The system and the method differentiate messages of the local control network from messages of the other control networks based on received signal strength of the messages in order to correctly demarcate multiple control networks.
