  • Publication number: 20080209235
Abstract: A power switching circuit includes a flip-flop for receiving an abnormal power-off signal output by shutdown software of an electronic device, and outputting a trigger signal when a power supply of the electronic device is in an abnormal shutdown status and the abnormal power-off signal. The power switching circuit further includes a switching device for receiving a first control signal indicating that the backup battery is providing power and a second control signal indicating that the power supply is providing power, and outputting a backup battery power supply signal when the abnormal power-off signal is transmitted from the flip-flop or a power supply signal when the abnormal power-off signal is not transmitted from the output end of the flip-flop. The power switching circuit further includes a voltage regulator device for switching the backup battery or a power supply to provide power.

  • Patent number: 7237050
Abstract: A multi-channel serial advanced technology attachment (SATA) control system and control card thereof includes a first SATA control module, a first access-grant arbitration unit, a second SATA control module, a second access-grant arbitration unit and a path selection module. Through an arbitration process performed in the first and second access-grant arbitration units, an access-grant is determined. And a selection signal is generated based on the process result that is sent to the path selection module, to switch a transmission path to the SATA control module which has acquired the access-grant. Therefore, multi-channel SATA data access function may be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20060212626
Abstract: An independent hard disk control device for linking a motherboard and a hard disk includes a first substrate, a first interface, a second interface and a hard disk controller. The first interface, second interface and hard disk controller are installed on the first substrate. The hard disk controller is connected to the first interface and the second interface. The hard disk has a third interface, which is connected to the first interface through a flat cable. The motherboard has a fourth interface, which is connected to the second interface. The hard disk controller controls signal and data transmission between the motherboard and the hard disk.

  • Publication number: 20050131942
Abstract: An assisted generating system and method for layout data conversions converts an output file generated by a circuit design program (such as ConceptHDL). In addition to rule setting, the method automatically adjusts fields with abnormal properties. It provides a user interface with hints for the user to edit the contents. The system finally outputs a converted file compatible with a circuit layout program (such as Allegro) to assist subsequent layout designs.
