The waveguide includes a first end portion and a second end portion, the first end portion is optically coupled to the optical coupler, and the second end portion has a groove on the upper surface.

Abstract: A method includes forming a release film over a carrier, forming a polymer buffer layer over the release film, forming a metal post on the polymer buffer layer, encapsulating the metal post in an encapsulating material, performing a planarization on the encapsulating material to expose the metal post, forming a redistribution structure over the encapsulating material and the metal post, and decomposing a first portion of the release film. A second portion of the release film remains after the decomposing. An opening is formed in the polymer buffer layer to expose the metal post.

The pipe is connected to the pump and is mounted through the lamp seat. The oil lamp is mounted in the lamp seat and has a jar, a cap and a wick. The jar an oil chamber, an inner thread and a cap retainer mounted slidably on the jar. The cap is mounted detachably to the jar and has an outer thread and multiple slots corresponding to the cap retainer. The wick is mounted through the cap in the oil chamber. The oil lamp provides flickering flame effect to improve the visual presentation of the gushing water of the base and make the fountain look vivid at night or in the dark.

Abstract: A fountain has a base, a pump, a lighting device and at least one stand. The base holds liquid and has a top opening. The at least one stand is mounted on the top opening of the base and has a top. The pump is mounted inside the base and is connected to the stand. The lighting device is mounted on the top of the stand. When liquid flows through the lighting device, the light from the lighting device is reflected the liquid and enhances the optical appearance by making the flowing liquid look like a candle flame. The lighting device can make the fountain easy and safe to use.

A solar cell panel is firmly attached on top of the hollow boss to convert solar energy into electricity to charge the batteries. Light bulbs and a circuit board are mounted in the chamber and adjacent to the boss. The solar cell panel, the light bulbs and the batteries are respectively and electrically connected to the circuit board. The light bulbs are controlled by the circuit board and supplied electricity by the batteries to light up automatically under a dim condition.

The cylinder has an outlet defined in a top face of the cylinder and multiple protrusions are formed in the top face to securely connect a solar lamp to the cylinder. Therefore, the solar lamp in combination with the fountain is able to create waterfalls for ornamental purpose and the solar lamp is able to provide illumination under dimly-lit conditions.
