  • Publication number: 20240113071
Abstract: An integrated circuit package including electrically floating metal lines and a method of forming are provided. The integrated circuit package may include integrated circuit dies, an encapsulant around the integrated circuit dies, a redistribution structure on the encapsulant, a first electrically floating metal line disposed on the redistribution structure, a first electrical component connected to the redistribution structure, and an underfill between the first electrical component and the redistribution structure. A first opening in the underfill may expose a top surface of the first electrically floating metal line.

  • Publication number: 20230269313
Abstract: An example foldable mobile computing device includes a first side including a first power storage device coupled to a first regulator. The device includes a second side including a second power storage device coupled to a second regulator and connected in parallel with the first power storage device. The second side is configured to articulate relative to the first side about a hinge. The device includes processing circuitry configured to determine a power storage capacity of the first power storage device and to determine a power storage capacity of the second power storage device. The device is also configured to adjust, based on the power storage capacity of the first power storage device and the power storage capacity of the second power storage device, at least one of an impedance of the first regulator or an impedance of the second regulator.

  • Patent number: 8928274
Abstract: A battery module for a portable electronic device is disclosed. The battery module is connected with the portable electronic device with at least three contacts. The battery module includes a battery, a recognition circuit, and a thermal sensing circuit. The recognition circuit has an energy storage element and a current limiting element, and the thermal sensing circuit has a switch and a thermal sensing element. The thermal sensing element varies its electric parameter in accordance with the temperature of the battery module. With the charging curve of charging the energy storage element by way of the current limiting element, the portable electronic device can determine a battery type, and the thermal sensing circuit is then initiated to acquire the thermal information of the battery module.
