  • Publication number: 20240137107
Abstract: Provided is a wireless communication method and related apparatus. In the method, a repeater reports a capability of the repeater to the base station for the base station to determine a repeater gain, and the repeater utilizes the repeater gain designated by the base station to amplify a received signal transmitted to or from the at least one user equipment served by the repeater. With this method, multipath or multi-user interference introduced by the repeater to the mobile network can be minimized. In addition, the transmit power of the user equipment served by the repeater can be effectively reduced.

  • Publication number: 20240137778
Abstract: Provided is a signal forwarding method and related apparatus. In the method, a repeater determines which part of received signals, which are the cellular communication signals, are to be forwarded, according to a control of the network, and then utilizes a gain of the repeater to amplify the determined signals and forwarding the amplified signals. With this method, the effective power spectrum density transmitted by the repeater becomes larger. Multipath or multi-user interference may also be minimized.

  • Publication number: 20240072883
Abstract: Provided is a method of power control, repeater and storage medium. The repeater is used to amplify cellular communication signals between a base station and a user equipment. The method includes measuring a power of downlink signals received from the base station; estimating a power of uplink signals transmitted from the user equipment, wherein the power of uplink signals is estimated based on the measured power of downlink signals and a power constant, and the power constant is an estimated closed-loop power control constant between the power of downlink signals and the power of uplink signals; and determining a power of uplink signals transmitted to the base station, based on the estimated power of uplink signals. In this method, AGC (Auto Gain Control) can respond quickly and properly, thereby reducing the false response of AGC and improving the repeater performance.

  • Publication number: 20100149336
Abstract: The micro supervisory system of the invention includes a casing, an image capture module, a display device, a gas generator, and a wireless transmission module. The image capture module is disposed in the casing, and captures an image and then generates an image signal. The display device receives the image signal and then generates a driving signal. The gas generator is disposed in the casing, and receives the driving signal and then generates a gas for anti-riot scenarios. The wireless transmission module receives and then transmits the image signal to the display device. Meanwhile, the wireless transmission module receives and then transmits the driving signal to the gas generator. Therefore, the tear gas can be released from the gas generator and is used for expelling people. The micro supervisory system of the invention can be applied to military spies, anti-riot supervision, and calamity supervision.

  • Publication number: 20090103673
Abstract: The present invention relates to a signal power combiner with dynamic phase compensation, which uses a plurality of phase shifters to receive a first input signal and a second input signal, and shift the phases of the first and second input signals. A detection unit detects the phases of the first input signal and the second input signal, produces a compensation signal, and transmits to the plurality of phase shifters for shifting the phases of the first input signal and the second input signal. A combiner receives the compensated first and second input signals, combines the first input signal and the second input signal, and produces an output signal. Thereby, the transmission quality of signals is improved.

  • Patent number: 6603507
Abstract: A method for controlling a light source in a night vision system is provided. The method first computes a pulse width Tp=2(d−d1)/c, where c is the light speed, according to parameters of a desired observing distance d and a shortest distance d1 of the back-scattering light that enters the light sensor, such as a low-light-level camera. According to the definition of duty cycle D, it is determined by D=(1−d1/d)/(2−d1/d). According to the parameters of the desired observing distance and the pulse width, control signals are generated by a pulse signal controller to control a pulsed active-light illuminator with proper emitting period and a gated light sensor with proper gated-on period.
