    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits concurrent channel state information (CSI) processing capability information to a base station. The capability information can take various forms, and is intended to constrain the base station in the types of CSI requests that can be made to the UE. For example, the UE may indicate different CSI processing capabilities for intra-CC and inter-CC cases and/or for different codebook types. The UE may also specify supported combinations of codebook types for concurrent CSI reporting. The UE may also specify maximum resources or weighting factors for different codebook types. The UE may further restrict the rank information it provides and use a priority rule for “dropping” CSI report data due to payload size restrictions. The base station may direct, or the UE may implement, improved utilization of CSI resources that are shared for multiple concurrent CSI reports. Minimum time requirements for CSI reporting may also be relaxed.

The method includes identifying a transport block (TB) for transmission to a UE; determining a total number of sub-channels (NSL) in a resource pool for sidelink communication, a number of sub-channels (Lsub) of the TB, a first starting sub-channel index x1 of a first retransmission of the TB, and a second starting sub-channel index x2 of a second retransmission of the TB. The method includes determining a frequency resource indication value (FRIV) based on NSL, LSUB, x1, and x2, wherein the FRIV represents a result of a predetermined function of Lsub, x1, and x2 that generates a unique value for possible combinations of Lsub, x1, and x2. The FRIV is encoded in SCI and the SCI is transmitted to the UE.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for demodulating a NR-PBCH signal. The method may comprise receiving a primary SS and an SSS. The received SSS signal may be used as a reference signal to detect demodulation reference signals of the NR-PBCH. These demodulation reference signals may be interleaved with data on the NR-PBCH. In one method, the NR-PBCH DMRS are associated with an SSB index in an effort to improve randomization in the synchronization process. The NR-PBCH payload may be demodulated using the PSS and/or SSS and the DMRS. In one embodiment, the NR-PBCH DMRS may mapped to DMRS REs on a frequency first and time second mapping basis.

An example method can include a user equipment (UE) determining capability information associated with wake-up signal (WUS) monitoring, the capability information to include an indication that the UE supports WUS monitoring in a radio resource control (RRC) connected mode. The UE can transmit, to a base station, an indication of the capability. The UE can perform, while in a sleep state in which transmitting and receiving by a main radio is suspended, WUS monitoring to detect a trigger. The UE can transition from the sleep state to the awake state based on the trigger. The UE can monitor for a downlink (DL) transmission in the awake state.

    Abstract: Performing UCI multiplexing includes generating PUCCH resources Z at an L1 HP procedure and an L1 LP procedure. The L1 HP procedure and the L1 LP procedure results in a plurality of HP PUCCHs and LP PUCCHs, respectively. A modified procedure for Set Q to resources Z is performed with the plurality of HP PUCCHs and LP PUCCHs as inputs. The plurality of HP PUCCHs according to starting symbols is scanned to identify an earliest starting HP PUCCH. A PUCCH from the plurality of LP PUCCHs or HP PUCCHS that overlaps with the earliest starting HP PUCCH is collected. Inter-L1 priority multiplexing is performed on the earliest starting HP PUCCH and the collected PUCCH, which may result in a new HP PUCCH. The new HP PUCCH is inserted into the Set Q. The modified procedure is repeated until there is no overlap among the HP PUCCHs and the LP PUCCHs.

The analog baseband signal includes the M copies of the duplicated signal uniformly offset from one another in the frequency domain by a bandwidth F and including a gap between adjacent copies. The UE further includes an anti-aliasing analog filter an analog to digital converter (ADC). The ADC samples an output of the anti-aliasing analog filter at a sampling frequency selected to obtain a digital baseband signal comprising a combined digital copy of the M copies of the duplicated signal folded over each other.

    Abstract: Measurement resources are often limited in 5G and 4G-LTE communications. As a result, SMTC and CSI-RS measurement windows will occasionally be assigned to the same resource elements of a signal frame. This results in a collision that must be resolved, since both measurements cannot be performed simultaneously. The collision can be resolved using restriction, where overlapping resource elements are assigned to either the SMTC or the CSI-RS measurements, or can be resolved using measurement sharing, where overlapping resource elements are divided among the two measurements according to a measurement sharing factor. Various factors, including priority or window periodicity may be taken into account by the measurement rules that dictate collision resolution.
