    Abstract: A pronunciation teaching method is provided. A service account is provided in a social communication program to provide a pronunciation teaching program. The service account provides guidance information to a user account which inputs the guidance information by voice input and directly transmits the guidance information to the service account by a text to be evaluated converted by a voice input engine. The service account provides an evaluation result to a corresponding user account according to the text to be evaluated. The social communication program provides the reception and transmission of text messages. The guidance information is texts provided for users to pronounce. The evaluation results are related to the difference between the guidance information and the text to be evaluated. Accordingly, the pronunciation defects of users can be effectively detected. Curative pronunciation exercises can be arranged specifically to improve the pronunciation accuracy of users and the efficiency of voice input.

    Abstract: A car body repair system and a method thereof are provided. The system includes a scan apparatus, a processor and an adjustment mechanism. The scan apparatus scan a car body to obtain current surface curve information related to a deformed three-dimension surface of the car body that is damaged. The processor obtains the current surface curve information and initial surface curve information related to an original three-dimension surface of the car body that has not been damaged. The processor compares the current surface curve information and the initial surface curve information to obtain deformation information. The adjustment mechanism adjusts the surface of the car body according to the deformation information to recover the car body to an initial state corresponding to the initial surface curve information. Accordingly, the repair efficiency is improved, and a high standard degree of repair is achieved.

    Abstract: An automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment with adjustable image capturing combination and an image capturing combination adjusting method thereof are provided. The automated optical inspection equipment includes at least one image capturing apparatus, at least one moveable light source and a device-under-test (DUT) movement mechanism. A control circuit moves DUT, selects one light source, and controls the light source to move or rotate. The control circuit is capable of performing the capturing operation by switching multiple image capturing combinations sequentially. Each of the image capturing combinations records the image capturing apparatus, the position and angle of the DUT, the light source and its position and angle relative to DUT. The positions or angles of capturing combinations are different. Accordingly, a large number of the image capturing results can be obtained for the DUT quickly and automatically.

The timbre-selectable human voice playback system includes a speaker, a storage and a processing apparatus. The storage saves a text database. The processing apparatus is connected to the speaker and the storage. The processing apparatus obtains real human voice signals, converts the text of the text database into original synthetic human voice signals with the text-to-speech technology, and transforms the original synthetic voice signals into timbre-specific human voice signals with a timbre transformation model. The timbre-transformation model is trained with the real human voice signals collected from a specific person. Then, the processing apparatus plays the transformed human voice signals with the speaker. Accordingly, a user can listen to his favorite voice timbre and the transformed voice signal carrying selected content anytime and anywhere.

The system and method are aimed to reduce discomfort of a passenger due to centrifugal forces resulted from vehicle's turning motion. The system includes a lane prediction unit, a control unit, and a seat adjusting unit. The lane prediction unit is utilized for obtaining lane information in front of the automotive vehicle. According to the lane information the control unit calculates the centrifugal force which the passenger experiences while sitting in a seat of the automotive vehicle, and a seat tilt angle which is required for the seat to compensate the centrifugal force after a predetermined time interval. The seat adjusting unit adjusts the seat to the seat tilt angle after the predetermined time interval so as to reduce or eliminate the ill-effect on the passenger resulted from the centrifugal force.

    Abstract: A real-time warning system for a vehicle windshield and a performing method thereof are disclosed. The real-time warning system includes an image capture unit, an image processing unit, a calculation and control unit, and a robotic optical projection unit. The image capture unit continually captures images appearing in front of a vehicle. The image processing unit determines an obstacle according to the images appearing in front of the vehicle. The calculation and control unit calculates an intersection point between a straight line and the vehicle windshield, wherein the straight line connects the obstacle and a head position of a driver in the vehicle.
