  • Patent number: 11962244
Abstract: A buck-assisted split-source inverter including a DC link having two voltage rails, at least two pairs of series connected switches, a first connection point and a second connection point for receiving voltage terminals of a fuel cell, one of the two voltage rails forming the first connection point, a switch component and an inductor connected in series having a first end formed of a terminal of the switch component and a second end formed of a terminal of the inductor, the first end forming the second connection point for receiving a voltage terminal of a fuel cell. The inverter further including at least two first diodes, a second diode having first and second terminals, wherein the switch component is adapted to be controlled conductive when any one of the lower switches connected to voltage rail forming the first connection point is controlled conductive.

  • Patent number: 10700617
Abstract: A converter converting between a dc voltage at a first voltage level and at least one waveshape at a second higher voltage level has a primary connection port for the dc voltage, one secondary connection port for each waveshape, and one stack of cells for each secondary port. Each stack includes n cells connected in cascade between the primary port and the corresponding secondary port. At least (n?1) of the cells in a stack have: first, second, third, and fourth terminals, a first energy storage, and first, second, and third switches, where the first energy storage is connected in parallel with the first and second switches, the first terminal is provided at a junction between the first energy storage and the first switch, and the second terminal is provided at a junction between the first energy storage element, the second switch and the third switch.

  • Publication number: 20200106384
Abstract: An inverter arrangement based on photovoltaic elements includes at least two strings including switching elements, which strings are connected to at least two AC terminals, where at least one of the strings is a string of submodules, each submodule including at least two switching elements and an energy storage element, having DC terminals and being configured to make a voltage contribution to the forming of an AC voltage on an AC terminal, and a number of input stages each including at least one energy delivery element, where at least some of the energy delivery elements are photovoltaic elements, each input stage being connected to DC terminals of a corresponding for delivering power to or from at least one AC terminal when the corresponding submodule contributes to the forming of the AC voltage on the AC terminal.
