    Abstract: A multi-purpose elevated water storage facility includes a water tank which has a fluted portion. The pillar supporting the tank can also be fluted. A box girder can be used to connect the tank fluted portion to the pillar and to a bottom portion of the tank, and additional usable space can be defined above a water storage portion of the tank.
