Abstract: A vehicle body repair apparatus comprises a platform with cross member retainers, unibody clamps, at least one pulling assembly, at least one movable cross member, a scissors lift, and a lifting assembly. The lifting assembly comprises an actuator at an angle with respect to the platform, so a toggle action exists that enables the scissors lift to raise the platform from a minimal height position from a floor surface.

Abstract: A means of automatically adjusting band saw blade guides according to the widths of the sawn material so as to minimize the unsupported length of a band saw blade combined with an improved means of removing material dust. The means of removing sawdust from the sawn material is also applicable to horizontal circular saw blades.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for measuring, cutting, and rolling material such as floor covering. The apparatus includes a wheeled support frame which receives a base roll of material from which material is unwound a material take-up shaft device onto which material from the base roll is wound. The take-up shaft device includes a pair of outwardly expandable bars which clamp the edge of the material in place on the take-up device and which can be contracted to release the old material from the take-up device. The take-up device is releasably mounted on the support frame by a mechanism which permits the entire take-up device with a roll of material wound thereon to be removed from the remainder of the apparatus. A measuring device measures the length of the material wound onto the take-up device and a floating cutting table assembly including a cutting bar assists in cutting off the material from the base roll when the material wound onto the take-up device is of the desired length.

Abstract: An independently locatable pull tower used in association with existing vehicle body and frame straightening apparatus where the pull towers are arranged at one end of the platform which receives the damaged vehicle. Straightening is accomplished without the necessity of removing and reversing the damaged vehicle from the apparatus. The additional pull tower is readily positioned for usage, as through wedging action by mechanism on the framework and portions of the platform which receive the damaged vehicle.Body and frame straightening is accomplished through a pull chain which connects the damaged vehicle and is downwardly displaced by horizontal movement of a powered cylinder.
