  • Patent number: 11987218
Abstract: A method and system for supporting trailers carrying mechanical equipment, such as hydraulic fracturing oil and gas equipment are provided. One, two or at least three supports extend from the trailer toward ground and are configured to partially support the trailer when in contact with ground, in addition to any axle groups that exist on the trailer. At least one device configured to absorb, damp, or both absorb and damp vibrations from the mechanical equipment during operation is provided. Each device is operatively coupled to, for example integrated with, a corresponding one of the support structures.

  • Patent number: 11933086
Abstract: In an aspect, a latch for a closure panel for a vehicle is provided, and includes a ratchet, pawl, release lever, and extension member. The ratchet is movable between a primary closed position, secondary closed position and open position. The pawl is movable between a primary locking position, secondary locking position and unlocking position. The release lever is movable between home and actuated positions. When the pawl is in the primary locking position the release lever has a selected amount of reach for driving the pawl to the secondary locking position during movement of the release lever to the actuated position. When the pawl is in the secondary locking position the extension member is movable to extend the reach of the release lever to drive the pawl from the secondary locking position to the unlocked position during movement of the release lever from the home position to the actuated position.

  • Patent number: 8230907
Abstract: A flexible heat pipe for use with evaporator and condenser elements for removing heat from electronic components. The flexible heat pipe includes a bellows member fixed at one end to a condenser member and at an opposite end to an evaporator member. A cable artery is disposed within the bellows and is fixed at one end to the evaporator, and slidingly engages the condenser at the opposite end. The bellows acts as a flexible vapor envelope, and the cable artery acts as a flexible wick for directing condensed working fluid from the condenser back to the evaporator. The sliding connection between the cable artery and the condenser allows relative axial movement, and the inherent flexibility of the cable artery allows relative lateral movement. Thus, the condenser and evaporator can move in all directions with respect to each other, which can provide desired vibration isolation of the two components.

  • Patent number: 5832615
Abstract: A hand-held tool is used to cut soft materials, such as pumpkins, for example in the carving of decorative designs. The tool has an elongated handle that has a forward cavity. A stiff blade extends forwardly of the handle in a longitudinal direction and has a shank portion in the cavity to reduce the danger of fatigue breakage.
