  • Patent number: 11117692
Abstract: Process for reducing the height of a box to the level of the apex of the stack of objects therein, wherein horizontal score lines are made at a height substantially equal to that of the apex of the stack of objects and such that the distance between the apex and the top of the box is greater than the half-width of the box. During a phase of simultaneous folding of the upper parts of the two side walls parallel to the length of the box toward the centre thereof, and before the upper edges or ridges of the upper parts meet, the angles of inclination of the upper parts are differentiated with respect to one another so that, when the upper parts meet, the upper edge of one covers the upper edge of the other, the upper parts sliding over one another during the final phase of folding the latter.

  • Patent number: 10633136
Abstract: Method and machine for reducing the height of a box without removing a section of the material of the box and without the use of any cutting tool whatsoever, but by folding high sections of side walls towards the centre of the box. The method includes: breaking the connections between the side walls along the upper section of the vertical ridges of the box, from the height of the vertical walls of the box to the level of the top of the stack of objects previously positioned in the box, by exerting a force, directed towards the exterior of the box, on the high section of at least two of the side walls; simultaneously folding towards the exterior the high sections on which force is exerted; then folding all the high sections towards the interior of the box, in order to bring the side walls into a substantially horizontal plane.

  • Patent number: 10005606
Abstract: A packaging system for immobilizing one or more objects has a box having a bottom and at least four side walls and a wedge in the form of a sheet. The sheet has a central portion of a polygonal shape that is generally square or rectangular. The central portion has dimensions corresponding to the bottom of the box. The sheet has one or more flaps on each of at least two edges of the central portion. The flaps are attached by an articulation to the central portion so as to allow movement of the flaps to conform against the side walls of the box so as to fasten the wedge on the side walls of the box after the wedge has been pushed down into the box.

  • Patent number: 7587884
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for adjusting height of a crate or box made of flexible material, having a base and at least four side walls by folding. After the base has been placed in a generally horizontal, a horizontal crease is produced on each side wall, parallel to the base and at a height substantially equal to a top of a stack of objects. At least one oblique crease is produced in each corner of the crate, with one end located at the intersection between two horizontal creases and the other end located on an upper ridge of one side wall. The upper part of each side wall is folded towards the center of the crate, at an angle substantially equal to 90°. The various flaps are folded on one another, being separated by oblique creases, bringing the upper part of side walls in a substantially horizontal plane.

  • Publication number: 20050063801
Abstract: A method for storing and distributing various articles, according to which the objects are stored on the trays of a rack structure. A suitable extraction system driven by a control and command system is movable in front of the rack structure in such a way that the extraction system is aligned in front of the bay of a tray carrying the stock of articles corresponding to the selected object so as to remove at least one of the articles. Objects or articles having the same reference are stored adjacent to each other on the upper side of one or several freely moving continuous conveyor belts, the conveyor belt(s) forming the receiving surface for one of the different bays of a storage tray. The conveyor belts are selectively motorized, causing the articles carried by the conveyor belts to be moved in the direction of a point of removal.

  • Patent number: 6643992
Abstract: Process for the fastening of objects into a box made of a bottom and of at least four lateral sides including introducing, into this box, a sheet of a flexible material, for example, made of cardboard, this sheet consisting of a central part having dimensions that are approximately the same as the bottom of the box, in a manner so as to be able to be displaced in a direction to the bottom of the box and, on at least two opposing sides of this central part, at least one flexible folding panel. The flexible folding panels are folded up to the top. The fastening sheet is shaped, prepared, inserted and pushed into the box until the sheet contacts the upper surface of the objects housed in the box. The folding panels are pushed back, applied and fixed, for example, by gluing, against the internal side of the lateral walls of this box, in a manner so as to create solid fixation of the fastening sheet onto the lateral walls of the box, and, as a result, the fastening of the objects housed in it.
