Abstract: A device (50) for treating the inner surface of a steam generator heat exchange tube (1) is introduced into the tube (1), the region to be treated is isolated from the remainder of the tube (1), an electrolyte is circulated in this region to carry out the treatment, an electrical field is created between the treatment device (50) and the tube (1) to produce a migration of ions in both directions, the electrical field created is reduced to zero, the electrolyte is removed to a treatment unit and then a compressed-air purge is carried out, the treated region is rinsed with demineralized water and the water is drained, and, lastly, an additional compressed-air purge is carried out.

Abstract: The shutter is composed of an assembly three independent panels comprising: a central panel (2) having a flange (6) for fastening to the orifice to be closed and having a seal and two rectilinear lateral rims (16, 18), and two side panels (1, 3), each comprising, on one part of its periphery, a flange (5, 7) for fastening on the periphery of the orifice to be closed, and which is provided with a seal, and, on the other part of its periphery, a rectilinear rim (12, 14) which forms a face for support on one of the lateral rims (16, 18) of the central panel (2) and on which are mounted members (20) for positioning the side panels (1, 3) on one of the lateral rims (16, 18) of the central panel.

Abstract: This device for the installation and retention of a shutter plate (11) for an opening (7) comprises a carrier ring (21) provided with an inner channel (22) with an inclined face (23), positioned within which are clamping wedges (25) which bear upon the periphery of the shutter plate (11) and which, under the action of locking screws (27) which interact with the carrier ring (21) move individually within the said channel in a downward radial direction so as to exert a compressive force on the said shutter plate.

Abstract: A modular drying unit for a steam generator, having identical dryer elements arranged partly as a polygonal crown within the envelope of the generator and partly as a star within that crown. The dryers constitute in trios triangular cells the inner space of which is divided by a partition permitting isolation of the dryers with respect to one another, as well as guidance of the steam at the intake and outlet ends of the dryers. This type of unit is particularly suitable for generators with natural circulation, notably for a nuclear reactor.
