Abstract: A support element for a bulb in particular a miniature bulb in a motor vehicle, the support element being of the type including at least one elastically deformable branch for holding and making electrical connection with an end terminal of the bulb and fastening means for fixing the support element to a base. According to the invention said fastening means comprises at least one fixing tab including at least one projecting toe, said fixing tab being suitable for being inserted essentially perpendicularly to a plane of said base in the same direction as is used for installing a bulb on the base, the tab being forced into at least one housing provided in the base in such a manner that the, or each, projecting toe engages in a wall of said housing. The invention is applicable to making lighting devices of glove boxes or rear number plates of motor vehicles.

Abstract: A fastener, for fitting a lighting or indicating unit on to a fixed part of a motor vehicle having a hole, comprises a first portion defining a threaded shank adapted to be engaged in the hole and to cooperate with a nut, and a second portion extending from a first end of the threaded shank and adapted to secure the fastener on the lighting or indicating unit. The second portion of the fastener includes an external thread which is essentially coaxial with the threaded shank, and which is adapted to cooperate with a complementary thread provided on the lighting or indicating unit. A spigot is provided on the other, free, end of the threaded shank, this being profiled to enable the fastener to be rotated by a tool so as to drive the thread of the second part into the lighting or indicating unit.

Abstract: A signalling light for mounting on a back shelf of a motor vehicle, and for being covered by a cap or the like, the light comprising a box that is open towards the back window of the vehicle and that contains a filament bulb that extends from one side of said box into said box, the box being closed adjacent to the back window of the vehicle by a closure glass. According to the invention said box includes a removable portion having a cross-section that is substantially U-shaped and that forms a heat screen between the filament bulb and the cap, said removable portion constituting an access hatch giving access to the bulb. The light is suitable for mounting on the back shelf of a motor vehicle.
