  • Patent number: 5495683
Abstract: An engagement device, particularly usable for toothed bands of sports shoes, such as for example ski boots, roller skates or ice skates, including a single body that can be associated with the shoe and has at least one first slot for the sliding insertion of the toothed band. First teeth for the temporary engagement with traction of the band are provided at the first slot. There is also a curved surface suitable to force the interaction of the set of teeth of the band with the first teeth.

  • Patent number: 5491910
Abstract: Sealing device, particularly usable for ski boots including a shell provided with a first inner flap and with a second outer flap which can mutually overlap. The sealing device is constituted by a single body including a band which can be arranged below the second flap and from which a wing protrudes upward. The wing is arranged adjacent to the lower surface of the second flap and interacts with the upper surface of the first flap. Since the band and the wing are both resilient, perfect tightness to infiltrations between the flaps is achieved when the first and second flaps are made to overlap.

  • Patent number: 5465984
Abstract: Braking device for skates including an item of footgear composed of a quarter articulated to a shell which is in turn associated with a supporting frame for one or more wheels. The device includes a rod member connected to the quarter and is slidingly associated with the shell. The rod member has an end which, upon a rotation of the quarter, pushes toward the ground, a braking element articulated to the frame.

  • Patent number: 5313720
Abstract: A securing device for ski boots, including a lever associated laterally to a ski boot and provided with a cylinder for adjusting the tension of a cable which is preferably associable with a shell at its ends and externally embraces a presser and a flap. The device allows to achieve an optimum securing for optimally retaining the foot both at the instep and at the heel.

  • Patent number: 5269621
Abstract: A fastening device particularly usable to obtain the fine adjustment of the tension applicable by a lever, for example to secure the flaps of a shell or a quarter of a ski boot. The device includes, on the tie rod member of the lever, a seat for a nut which in turn interacts with a threaded pin element for coupling to an engagement hook which is associable with one of the flaps to be closed of the boot. The device has very small dimensions, weight and cost together with simple assembly of the various components.

  • Patent number: 5197165
Abstract: A lever structure for securing one or more pressers and/or for closing the flaps of a ski boot, includes a device for the fine adjustment of the working length of one or more traction elements. The device includes at least one knob which can be accessed by the skier and is associated with a lever arm in an oscillating manner and without fixed connections. The knob has an internally threaded cavity which acts as seat for a complementarily threaded pawl which is rigidly associated with a traction element. The device is considerably simple in execution and has modest costs in view of the absence of pivots, rivets and other means for interconnection between the lever and the knob.

  • Patent number: 5187884
Abstract: A lever, pivoted to a pair of brackets which protrude from the boot, is constituted by a hollow central body which is pivoted to the lever body and is internally threaded complementarily with respect to a pawl with which at least one traction element is associated. A cover is furthermore slidably associated with the hollow central body and interacts with a bellows for forcing the cover into abutment with the pawl. Thus, a rotation imparted to the pawl, for example by means of the traction element, is followed by a movement of the cover which allows the skier to immediately visualize the degree of adjustment of the tension which can be imparted to the traction element.

  • Patent number: 5150537
Abstract: Securing and adjuster device for ski boots, composed of a circular winder, which is actuated by a knob and is connected for example to a foot presser, and of a vertical lever, which actuates a cable for closing the quarters; when the lever is opened, the winder is also released automatically; the adjustment of the two devices is independent.

  • Patent number: 5079859
Abstract: A rear-entry ski boot includes a quarter closure device constituted by a rear vertical lever which tensions one or more traction elements. Temporary engagement with the one or more traction elements are provided on the body of the vertical lever or on at least one of the quarters, and the temporary engagement allow the partial take-up of the working length of the traction elements when the rear vertical lever is open. A boot is thus provided with which the skier can walk easily.

  • Patent number: 5001817
Abstract: A securing and adjustment device, particularly for ski boots, includes a case having a knob which can be actuated by the skier, and at least one spool, provided with an axial toothing, for winding at least one cable. The device further includes a resilient planar element which is associated, at one end, with the case and is arranged on a plane which is approximately parallel to the plane of arrangement of the axial toothing. The planar element has an angled wing which ratchet-like engages the axial toothing of the winding spool. A release means, such as an axially arranged button, is furthermore provided on the knob and interacts with the planar element so as to disengage its wing from the axial toothing of the spool.
