  • Patent number: 5760551
Abstract: An automatic rearrangement and distribution device for telecommunication and data lines with connection terminals for exchange office and subscriber lines and a remote controllable connection device having a gripping element. To automate a re-arrangement and distribution device provided with connection blocks, the connection terminals are disposed in connection blocks radially directed relative to a central axis. The connection device is swingable in central axis, and a gripping element is disposed radially displaceably at the connection device. For connecting the rearrangement and distribution device to copper cables as well as to fiber-glass cables, without modifications being required, the control paths at blocks for fiber-glass and for copper cable applications have identical lengths.

  • Patent number: 5576603
Abstract: An automatic distribution device for telecommunication and datalines, comprising connection terminals for exchange and subscriber cables and comprising a remotely controllable connection device with a grip element. In order to automate a distribution device provided with terminal blocks, the connection terminals are disposed in terminal blocks oriented radially to a central axis, the connection device is pivotably supported in the central axis and the grip element can radially be swung out from the connection device.

  • Patent number: 5422946
Abstract: A distribution device, in particular for the main distribution of telephone and data lines, includes a distribution rack, a distribution frame, and a pivotable frame, for terminating the system side and the subscriber side. Jumper possibilities and the adaptation to the possibilities of computer-controlled exchange systems are improved by disposing the subscriber side and the system side-by-side in a modular manner on a profile frame, and building them up vertically above each other to frame rows disposed side-by-side.

  • Patent number: 4812004
Abstract: A splice cassette housing for optical waveguides has to be brought from an installation position, e.g. a socket-type housing, to a splice position. The incoming and outgoing optical waveguide cables fed with known splice cassette housings along the longitudinal sidewalls are disadvantageous for the free mobility of the splice cassette housing. In order to achieve a high degree of freedom in the mobility of the splice cassette housing, the incoming and outgoing optical waveguide cables 8 and 9 are usually fed separately from each other to the splice cassette housing in a common axis within a flexible hose. Further, a groove-type guide channel 11 in the shape of a member "9" is provided in the bottom 6 of the housing for a change in direction of one of the optical waveguide cables by 180.degree., in order to be able to feed the individual optical waveguides again from opposed directions to the splice position.

  • Patent number: 4770357
Abstract: An apparatus is described for the storage of the fibers of glass-fiber cables (23) in distribution devices in a telecommunication network, such as, for example, in casings (9) of end distributors or distribution frames (10). In order to be able to store, in a break-safe and manipulatable manner a splice reserve, wound up as, for example, in a splice cassette (58) with a movable feed cable (21), at least one cassette box (1), is provided and which is designed to receive a cassette (20). The box (1) is stored in a casing (9, 10) of the distribution device, and is provided with a removal opening (7). The box (1) can be moved from an essentially vertical storage position in the casing (9, 10) to an essentially horizontal removal position with the removal opening (7) located at the top.
