  • Patent number: 5950626
Abstract: A therapeutic device for absorbing vibrations acting on a region of a human body and including at least one vibration-absorbing pillow formed of a synthetic compound resistant to an elastic compression and having a Shore hardness of 0.5-4.

  • Patent number: 5129596
Abstract: The invention relates to a landing gear, wherein a connecting plate 12 is joined to a strut tube 5 of a shock strut which is joined to a bearing member 1, and wherein the strut tube 5 houses an inner member 8 which with its terminal end engages the bearing member 1. It is desirable to model a shock strut formed with a deflecting C-member and hydraulic spring system with simple means as authentically as possible. This is achieved in that the strut tube 5 is joined to the bearing member 1 via a spring-action C-member 7 to permit up and down motions while the connecting plate 12 is solidly attached, in that the bearing member 1 is of integral construction with the connecting plate 12, the strut tube 5 and the C-member and in that the inner member is formed as a metal pin 8 which is axially slidable in the strut-tube 5, the metal pin 8 being loaded at its one end by a metal compression coil spring 10 abutting on a fixed part at its far end.

  • Patent number: 5096452
Abstract: In a model airplane having a landing gear 5 provided on a fuselage 1 or wing made as a zinc-alloy die-casting where a bearing member 19 is suspended from a strut 18, it is desirable that the manufacture of an accurately modelled landing gear be simplified. This is achieved in that a landing gear 8 formed with two clasp member arms 10 made of elastically bendable plastic forms the bearing member 19 and at least partially the strut 18 with a tenon 11 being inserted and glued into a cast cavity 12 in the fuselage 1/wing wherein the clasp member 8 bears against the zinc-alloy die-casting with a thickening shoulder 17. The clasp member being a plastic moulding permits a finely engraved realistic appearance of the strut and bearing member while simplifying assembly of the wheel pair and reducing the scrapping rate.

  • Patent number: 5083969
Abstract: In a model vehicle having a door assembly attached by a pivot bearing to a body including a door sill delimiting a doorway, it is desirable that the pivot bearing should be situated within the doorway permit easy installation and combine simple construction with strength to withstand rough usage. This object is achieved in that a metallic pivot pin attached to a door sill within the doorway projects with its free end upwardly from the door sill and in that a bearing cavity receiving the pivot pin is formed by the door assembly itself. The pivot bearing provided is of simple construction, easy to install and capable of withstanding stresses other than caused by normal opening and closing of the door.

  • Patent number: 5064145
Abstract: A model airplane is provided wherein the fuselage formed with a tail is horizontally divided and provided at said aft end portion with a vertical stabilizing surface and two horizontal stabilizing surfaces. It is desirable that the aft end portion of the fuselage should be held together and a root or roots of the stabilizing surfaces be located with a smooth and streamlined surface being maintained on the underside of the aft end of the fuselage by insertion from the aft end of the fuselage. This is achieved in that a duct which is open at the aft end of the fuselage extends through the fuselage portions and portions of at least one root of a stablizing surface, and in that a pin is fittingly inserted in the duct. This method of connecting eliminates the need for screws, detents and a well in the underside of the aft end region of the fuselage.
