Abstract: Clamp devices can be operated remotely to facilitate the installation, removal and other handling of wheels and tires for large vehicles. The clamp devices generally include an attachment mechanism, a gripping mechanism, an actuating link operable to move the gripping mechanism between an open and closed position, an actuator to activate the actuating link, a transmitter for sending command signals to the clamp devices for the purpose of opening or closing the gripping mechanism and a receiver for receiving such command signals.

Abstract: Methods for manipulating, positioning, and removing a lock ring for a wheel are disclosed. Manipulating the lock ring for the wheel involves increasing a separation distance between a first fastener fastened to a first end of the lock ring and a second fastener fastened to a second end of the lock ring opposite the first end. Positioning the lock ring in a lock ring groove of the wheel involves causing a lock ring positioner to position the lock ring proximate the wheel before positioning the lock ring in the lock ring groove of the wheel. Removing the lock ring from the wheel involves receiving the lock ring in at least one catcher receptacle of a lock ring positioner after removing the lock ring from the wheel.

Abstract: According to at least one embodiment, a gravity assist system comprises a plurality links and a means for holding at least one tool, wherein the plurality links are configured to permit a user to reposition the at least one tool within a work envelope.

Abstract: A trailer for use behind a motorcycle has an elongate frame which is suitable for carrying elongate cargo items thereon. To accommodate the elongate configuration of the frame, the frame is foldable for collapsing in length for storage, and the frame includes a steerable wheel to better track the motorcycle. The steerable wheel is located at the rear of the frame and is laterally centered relative to a steering axis of the wheel. Articulation of a hitching arm of the trailer relative to the frame of the trailer serves as an input to guide steering of the single wheel of the trailer relative to the frame of the trailer.
