Abstract: An insufflation and irrigation valve for an endoscope including a valve housing with a substantially cylindrical bore closed at one end by a bottom into which a gas inlet and outlet, and an irrigation inlet and outlet open, an outer plunger which is movable in the bore between an open position, in which the irrigation outlet is connected to the inlet, and a closed position, and an inner plunger movable in a longitudinal bore of the outer plunger, open toward the bottom, for connecting the gas outlet to the gas inlet in a position near the bottom and for separating the gas outlet from the gas inlet in a position remote from the bottom, wherein the gas inlet opens into the bore of the valve housing at a location nearer the bottom than the gas outlet.

In addition the medical apparatus includes a coupling device to couple a proximal end of an endoscope on the medical apparatus and to transmit light from the medical apparatus to the endoscope. The medical apparatus includes a screen, which is positioned on the front surface of the housing to observe an image taken by means of the endoscope, where the front surface and rear surface are each inclined toward the rear at an angle between 5 and 15 degrees with respect to a plane perpendicular to the base surface.

Abstract: A stroboscope module has a coupling with which the stroboscope module can be connected to a light connection of an endoscope. The coupling comprises a sleeve and a base, with the base being arranged in the sleeve displacable in an axial direction between a first position and a second position. An elastically deformable cuff having an internal diameter is arranged within the sleeve, into which cuff the light connection of the endoscope can be inserted in the first position. The sleeve and the base compress the cuff in the second position such that the internal diameter of the cuff is reduced and the light connection of the endoscope is locked in the coupling. The sleeve and the base can be locked in the second position.

Abstract: A device for fragmenting substances comprises a probe having an elongate probe shaft on the distal end of which a probe head is arranged, said probe head comprising an electro-hydraulic converter with which electrical energy, delivered via the probe shaft from the proximal direction, is converted in shock-like manner into mechanical kinetic energy, said converter comprising a housing which accommodates a liquid chamber and a shock-transmitting element which is designed as a piston and which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the housing from a proximal end position to a distal end position, the distal end position being defined by an abutment on the housing, which abutment is struck by a counter-abutment arranged on the shock-transmitting element.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided comprising a transmitter unit for detecting the position of a medical instrument with the aid of a CAS system, wherein the apparatus comprises the transmitter unit at a fixed position and wherein the medical instrument is attachable to the apparatus. To allow simple assembly and disassembly, the apparatus is formed as an adapter. A reception coupling is provided on one first side of the adapter at which the adapter can be releasably, however mechanically fixed and simply coupled to a predetermined coupling location on the medical instrument.

Abstract: A device for testing and/or adjusting a PDD or PDT system and/or for training on such a system comprises an illumination system emitting light which serves at least to stimulate a fluorescent dye and which may be directed to this end onto a tissue zone to be diagnosed and/or therapeutically treated, and an imaging unit which images the light arriving from the stimulated tissue zone. Abstract: A tube pump is disclosed for conveying liquid or viscous media, with a pump head on which at least two pump rollers are arranged, which rollers can be brought into engagement in succession with a tube wherein the medium to be conveyed is contained, in such a way that the medium is transported by squeezing the tube tightly. The tube pump according to this invention is distinguished in that the pump rollers can be shifted between two end positions, one of which positions (pumping position) permits the pumping operation and the other position (park position) permits a tube change without manual twisting of the pump head and without displacement of the tube bed.

Abstract: A medical pressure transducer is disclosed with a sterilizable pressure dome exhibiting two connections by means of which the pressure dome can be connected to a tube conduit system or the like, the internal pressure of which is to be measured, in such a way that the medium flowing through the tube conduit system passes through the inner space of the pressure dome.The inner space of the pressure dome is constituted by a housing, a sterilizable pressure dome diaphragm transmitting the pressure to an unsterilized pressure sensor, and a relief valve.
