Abstract: A window covering comprises a head rail, first and second panels, and first and second bottom rails secured to the first and second panels. A position of the first bottom rail relative to the second bottom rail is adjustable. A third panel can be provided, and a third bottom rail can be secured to a lower portion of the third panel. A position of the third bottom rail relative to the second bottom rail is adjustable. A first rod can be coupled to both the first panel and the third panel to span a gap therebetween. A second rod can be coupled to the second panel. A double rod clip can connect the first rod to the second rod. Single rod clips can secure the first and third panels to the first rod. Each of the rod clips preferably includes a cord guide for guiding and retaining a corresponding lift cord.

Abstract: A modular cutdown machine for window coverings includes a center control module and first and second cutting modules at opposite ends of the center control module. Control, power and cleanup functions are contained within the center control module and are distributed to each of the cutting modules. One cutting module can be operated without the other cutting module in place, and repair or service can be performed by the interchange of modules.

Abstract: A cutdown machine for window coverings includes a central work surface and cutting stations at each end, above and behind and below and in front of the work surface. The machine fits in a standard display bay of a home improvement store, and includes a cutting station that extends in front thereof to cut a vertical blind headrail that is longer than the width of the bay.
