  • Patent number: 4592334
Abstract: A charcoal concentrating implement for a charcoal grill which restrains the charcoal in an enclosure resting on the firebox of the grill under the cooking surface either by itself, or in combination with the sides of the firebox. The charcoal is concentrated in only a portion of the firebox supporting surface. A quicker, hotter fire for cooking is obtained with a reduction in the amount of charcoal and charcoal lighter fluid required.

  • Patent number: 4354561
Abstract: A reciprocating rotary drill bit is disclosed to include a coupling member for coupling the drill bit to a source of drill bit drive power and a cutter member for drilling into a workpiece. The coupling member and the cutter member are slidably associated and include overlapping protruding portions which delimit the upward and downward travel of the cutter member with respect to the coupling member. The slidable association permits reciprocation of the cutter member with respect to the coupling member as the drill bit is rotated into the workpiece. The coupling member also includes protrusions which extend into grooves defined in the cutter member to rotationally secure the two members whereby the cutter member rotates when the coupling member rotates.

  • Patent number: 4324300
Abstract: A drill bit including a support member and a plurality of concentrically positioned, hollow, cylindrical cutting members connected to the support member is disclosed. Each of the cutting members includes a beveled edge obliquely extending between the inner and outer surfaces thereof. The beveled edges are aligned so that a tapered cutting surface is defined.

  • Patent number: 4230193
Abstract: An improved rotary drill bit comprised of two or more elongated generally cylindrical drill members the lower ends of which form a cutting face. Each of the drill members includes a plurality of vertically spaced rows of diamond-shaped openings disposed, or formed, in the sides, or wall, thereof, the openings in adjacent rows being offset from each other and overlapping at their upper and lower ends whereby as the lower ends of the drill member wear away, cutting edges are continuously formed thereon by the diamond-shaped openings.

  • Patent number: 4230194
Abstract: An improved rotary drill bit comprised of two or more elongated generally cylindrical drill members, the lower ends of which form a cutting face. A plurality of vertically spaced rows of rotatable cutting members are positioned around and between the drill members and are journaled thereto whereby as the lowermost row of the rotatable cutting members and the lower ends of the drill members wear away, the next adjacent row of cutting members is exposed.

  • Patent number: 4134613
Abstract: A furniture structure which converts into a bed comprised of a pair of rectangular frame members, one slidably supported on top of the other, so that the top frame member can be moved relative to the bottom frame member from a position whereby the frame members are coincident to an expanded position whereby the top frame member has one end thereof supported on an end of the bottom frame member. A rectangular cushion is attached to the top frame member and a second rectangular cushion is removably positioned on top of the first cushion. The second cushion is of a thickness equal to the thickness of the first cushion plus the thickness of the top frame member whereby when the frame members are moved to the expanded position and the second cushion is disposed on the bottom frame member, the top surfaces of the cushions are positioned at equal heights above the floor.
